Wasn't it the Blake bots that had an earlier thread closed because people were posting that Blake had a personality disorder? I guess they are again trying to get the thread shut down by throwing psychiatric labels around.
Stick to the lawsuit, non bots. |
He does pull the "hurt little boy" schtick a LOT. That is insanely manipulative. Also saying things like "I can say you look sexy because my wife is here." Eww, eww, EWW. |
But neither Ryan or Taylor are on trial here, and the stuff people are mad about isn't even relevant to the case. People on reddit getting mad that Taylor's public statement about her involvement in the movie was sort of (but not entirely) misleading will have zero bearing on the outcome of this case. Most of those emails and texts wouldn't be admissible in court anyway. A lot of the stuff people are mad about is just noise. On the actual legally relevant aspects of the case, I think plenty has come out that makes Justin look bad. The depositions of key people, including Justin, Jenny Slate, Jamey Heath, Alex Sachs, the intimacy coordinator, Isabella, Ange Giannetti, and Blake all make Justin sound bad at his job, arrogant, unable to take responsibility for problems, childish, and sometimes lazy. No major studio is ever hiring Justin to direct a movie again, I can say that. Even if he's exonerated on the SH stuff. Just based explicitly on what a bad director/leader he appears to have been on this movie. I think it's very damaging to his professional reputation. |
I would be incredibly annoyed by a comment like that by my boss. I actually probably would have handled it similar to the way Jenny did -- not say anything the first time because why get into it, but then if I heard him do it to a colleague a second time, I'd be stepping in to say "nope, please don't talk like that." I actually think it's easier to intervene when the comment is made towards someone else because then you have the authority of just being a third party and saying "look, comments like that are not okay." It helps escape the defense of "I'm just trying to say something nice!" or whatever. I don't think those two comments on their own are SH, though. I think Blake's best arguments for SH are related to Jamey walking into her trailer when she was undressed, and the stuff regarding the birth scene (and Jamey showing the birth video). From the start, those have been the more relevant allegations to me. But the "sexy" comments as Jenny describes them definitely dont' make me like Justin and back up the idea that he was just generally kind of gross and inappropriate on set. |
Agree with this. Very bad that he had major problems on two sets in a row when he was in a position of authority. Time will tell with Blake. She's beautiful but not a huge talent, and through no fault of her own nearing her Hollywood sell-by date anyway. The smartest thing she could do is headline a glossy Apple series a la Jennifer Aniston and Jon Hamm. Ryan will emerge unscathed, if only because none of this was a secret to studio execs anyway. The fact that the public wasn't aware of his dark side is meaningless. |
Yes. |
I would add he's aging too, so might not have the goods to transition into different kinds of roles either. |
The vulnerable narcissism is directly related to the lawsuit. Blake is alleging that Baldoni and Heath engaged in DARVO -- she even had an expert on DARVO deposed. A key element of DARVO is the RVO part -- reverse victim and offender. That's what vulnerable narcissists do. When they are called out for bad behavior, the flip it around and claim that the mere accusation that they have done something wrong makes them a victim. Baldoni's argument here is that Blake victimized him by accusing him of sexual harassment, and therefore he was justified in hiring TAG and Jed Wallace to go after Blake in order to protect his reputation from her allegations. This is classic DARVO and also evidence of vulnerable narcissism. Notice how this argument totally absolves Justin of any responsibility for his own behavior -- it's not his fault he was calling actresses sexy on set, or pushing for nudity in the birth scene, or whatever. He has no culpability, those are just things that happened and certainly not his fault or something he should apologize for or do anything about (on this movie he was directing and producing). But the minute women are saying "hey this behavior is not okay, please stop" he's a victim of unfair accusations and anything he does in response is justified. |

Blake bot crashing out again!!!
No one cares if you don't like Justin, posting it four times in a row doesn't change that. Blake is lucky she married a rich man, because her texts and behavior make her look like a lunatic. |
Blake is definitely not beautiful. She is average looking. |
And getting older by the day. Don't expect to ever see her as a leading lady again. |
I'm not your boss, honey. |
I don’t think you know what “legally relevant” means |
The multiple exclamation points and tired retread of the same "Blake sucks! She's crazy!" comments with no substance would indicate that there is a bot here, and it's you. Sorry, kiddo. Maybe try unplugging and then plugging back in? |
How many hundreds of times have you posted, loser? Get some new material or, better yet, a life. (NP btw) |
