There’s no such thing as friendship with America for any Middle Eastern country not named Israel. The gulf states are learning this the hard way. All the money and oil in the world does not mean they’re special. Even Iran is learning this the hard way. They let their guard down and believed us twice in 12 months about settling via negotiation to avoid combat. The now dead ayatollah is the one who believed Donald Trump and the Us about negotiating to prevent a war. It was all a ruse to get their guard down. How can anybody trust our word again?

Our own citizens and military has no trust in the Us government. There’s zero faith in government institutions or politicians which is why Trump was elected in the first place
