The democrats haven't started never ending wars since Vietnam and that was pre-southern strategy, so really, those were mordern republicans.

There was nothing wrong with Kerry, Clinton, Harris or Biden as presidential candidates. The problem was the mind rot that Fox News creates, coupled with the binary "win/lose" approach that Newt Gingrich embraced. Are there bad democrats? Of course. But nothing on the scale of the NeoCons that got us into Iraq and Afgahanistan or the Tea Party that destroyed our balance of the economy.

The fact of the matter is that we are in this war for Israel. Israel doesn't care what happens to Iran or the world economy or US soldiers. They just want Iran destroyed, no matter the cost to everyone else.

And supporting Israel at the cost of the US is still something both Republicans and Democrats support. At least the Democratic leadership and the bulk of the elected democrats in Congress. So it is a both sides issue. Until the Democrats actually show they will cut Israel off and let them fend for themselves and put the interests of this country first.

I do believe there is truth to that saying that when you dig a grave for your enemy make sure you dig two graves, one for your enemy and the other for yourself. Israel cannot believe that with a destroyed Iran, Israel would also fall.

Almost all of the American military experts (not associated with Trump admin) also have no valid argument in favor of the Iran invasion. No one is going to tell us. Trump is too stupid to understand even if he were offered this information in the starkest terms. Hegseth is too stupid to ask any of these questions, probably too stupid to understand half the implications if it was explained very slowly and repeated. Yes, the casualties appear to be from strike in Qatar, but somehow it took a week to acknowledge the severity, and even to evacuate all the injured to Germany.

Israel has irrevocably changed the rules of engagement in diplomacy and war. Sometime, in the near future, when Israel has some downturn because of a natural disaster or economic downturn, don't be surprised if a few Arab countries decide to decapitate and invade. Treaties and agreements are meaningless with Israel and I'm sure this knowledge is being kept in the back pockets of the Arab leaders, along with all their grievances.
