See response above. Clearly no one is saying that 6 year olds are using message boards. They are saying that adults are likely discussing it and that kids are likely to overhear.

Hi everyone, it's OP here.

I truly doubt anyone knows who I am b/c I am have not "gabbed" to anyone. And I know PP have accused me of being"incredibly mean-spirited" but honestly that was not my intention. I just thought her post was super-wacky and pretty darn funny, and other people would enjoy a laugh.
Also, I really don't think there is any expectation of privacy on a public list-serv that you post your name and address on. Obviously she had no problem with what she wrote.

If I had been wrong, and this was not a super-funny post, this thread would have died on p.1. But obviously other people find this amusing too!

As for Karma, and the threats that people have made against me -- all I can say is practice some deep breathing and don't take everything so seriously!

That's a legit post. It's basically stealing a service. Not so different than if someone hooked a hose up to your outdoor water tap and hiked up your water bill.

Agreed, but posted as a rant- not a possible solution. Nobody is going to fess up after it's all said and done...she was pissed. I can't blame her.

OP here, I really don't see this as a mean girl thing, although obviously you do. I am not making fun of a child in a classroom, I am reposting an email that was sent to hundreds of people and commenting on it. I didn't hack into her email and send it -- SHE SENT IT TO ME via a list serv. When you post things like this on public listservs with your name and address, you must know that you have given up your privacy on this issue and that not everyone is going to see eye-to-eye with you. Some people are going to even laugh!
