Working as the superintendent in FCPS is blind ambition. They are checking a box and collecting a check. And let's be real it's not a job for one person and stop with the old pipe dream one Fairfax

Now with the fed cuts, there is no way that properties are going to hold their value around here and we will see diminishing property values. Oh, but don’t worry, they will find a way to keep raising the taxes on them.

Instead of reading the room and serving the public that pays their salaries, they are doing this kind of BS? Don’t they know they are about to kill the golden goose?

FCPS is too big and tries to do too many things. Too many layers of bureaucracy. Time to eliminate gatehouse and divide up the district.

Children deserve safety, and aren’t getting any.

How does any reasonable person approve this? Literally hundreds of FCPS Employees have been de-staffed this year because of budget cuts/realignments... yet we're wasting $400K plus for 4 Bodyguards? This is unreal. That's enough to fund 5-7 Teachers.

I guess that the Centerville topic is verboten unless in the context of why Reid needs a goon squad.

I guess so, even if FCPS says they are investigating

There is no Centerville in FCPS. Or Westfields. Way to demonstrate you probably aren’t even local.

Everyone local spells it "Centerville"

The school is actually "Centreville" with a flipped R and E? How fancy.

Blame auto-correct or Lucy Culkins for any spelling errors

Every local does not spell it incorrectly you moron.
Its Centreville. It has always been Centreville. Lord you people are morons.

Seriously still talking about er v re when Reid is spending $ that could have kept some teachers employed? Reid lives for this behavior and is why she will get 4 personal guards 24/7, never have to report on Hayfield, do whatever please for title 9 and boundaries and anything else because parents can’t come together long enough to act.

Centreville has 50,000 townhouses, a few strip malls, and nothing else that would make me want to make the 20-30 minute drive to get there. So forgive me if I never bothered to learn the fancy way to spell the name.

Parents need to get together to complain.

The only thing she cares less about than our children’s education is our opinions. Complaints don’t bother her one bit.
