Not to mention how often teachers get threatened or have to deal with aggressive kids/teens without the extensive training to do so.

What is the danger in telling is all what this threat is? If there are serious credible threats against her then if anything it might make us more empathetic and willing to have our tax money go toward this.

Obviously, there's a need for a secret police force to protect Fairfax County elected officials. In their spare time, they could investigate potential crimes against high ranking administrators in the county government.

Like Hamas or Al-Qaida or more like ICE?

Chanel 7 "Waste watch" reviewed it. Strange. Internal emails say one thing, yet FCPS DENIES having safety detail for her. Fairfax County police reviewed any potential threats, etc, but that was it, no update. The wording is very careful and I may be getting it wrong.

Credible threats to public persons have always been make public. There’s no to hid credible threats.

She probably promised some people these jobs she wants to create.

Again, there have been NO CREDIBLE THREATS.

Interesting. The Chanel 10 news report said the original ad listed a salary between that could over 100,000. If you hire 4 at the upper end that's over 400,000. That's a lot of money to spend and not tell us why. Make it make sense!

Ch 7 is owned by Sinclair which is basically Trump propaganda.

Not exactly a reliable source.

Please do some research.

This is indicative of the kind of "prioritize the adults" over the children that kept kids out of school for so long, while restaurants, gyms, bars, nail and hair salons were all open. Hire lots and lots of administrative staff but squeeze 30+ kids in a classroom.

There's a graph floating on the internet that shows the comparison of how administration has grown over school based in education. Very telling. Extreme data.

Seems to me that if there were "credible threats" that law enforcement would be involved. Also, that a temporary solution would be hired--not permanent staff.

I agree more transparency is needed here. However very hard to understand how those questioning this make it sound like threats of violence seems so far fetched. The current administration in this country should be trying to lower the temperature and it has been the opposite of that. The potus’s tweets alone are proof of that.

This is not a one sided problem. Don't claim that it is.

The question is why, if there are credible threats, they didn't rely on law enforcement or hire a contractor, if needed.

Full time, permanent staff is ridiculous.
