FCPS is hiring an executive protection agent

Closing date is Monday. Wonder how long this has been advertised? Probably another predetermined hire like those SB executive assistants.

From the job posting:

Requires exceptional flexibility; schedule will be unpredictable and driven by the superintendent's daily activities and security needs.

Must be available for irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, travel, and extended on-call duty.

Travel? Travel?

My husband runs a security company and would normally hire 2-3 people for 24 hour protection. We know from the killings of politicians in Minnesota that your home is not safe. If she is really keen to be secure (and not just feel like a celebrity) then she needs to go the proper route and hire a company.

That makes sense, hiring someone she knows and trusts, having a random ex-military guy around could be problematic.

Anyone know of any other school district who has security for their superintendent? Fairfax County executive does not. Who will stop the madness of Reid?

Isn't there a Congresswoman who paid her husband for security? Maybe, she has a friend

That makes a lot more sense for physical security but maybe not for discretion.

It’s basically to have someone with her on all of her school visits, etc.

Wonder if it comes with a vehicle? Glorified chauffeur?

She’s already driven everywhere.

Brabrand didn't have that, did he? I was volunteering to judge student presentations and he was also a judge, we parked next to each other and walked in together. (I only knew it was him based on the reaction of the admin staff.

She's useless and now she needs protection? Who is threatening her? That should be disclosed. Do any other superintendents in the area have this? Has she been audited? She spends taxpayer money so freely.

Good luck finding someone at that rate. My spouse does protection for VIPs in the fed govt and makes double that.

Can we ask FCPS Board to hire a superintendent who isn't so neurotic and afraid?

Naive question here: if someone in public office is threatened, do they get government security?

Is this a matter of security or wanting to be protected from questions from angry parents?

Wait, wasn’t Coach Overton from Hayfield’s job to do security and didn’t he also have his own security company????

Reid is a typical left wing DEI grifter.
