Did Allen publicly confront the US Attorney or AG when he was sitting next to the for TWO HOURS last week? If they are part of the problem why wasn’t he up in their grills?

I have noticed a trend in our discussion. You and (maybe others...hard to tell), tend to deflect to this when pressed for evidence or any specific policies that you think are recall worthy. I can tell you that it plays great to your echo chamber but isn't going to convince the rest of us.

DP: I can't speak for PP and I do think that there is an outside coordinated effort to promote the troubles DC is going through for a wider political audience. However, there is most definitely something very wrong with the mentality of the people making our laws and those whom have the discretionary power to enforce them.

- expanding juvenile to under 26 was very stupid
- not enforcing property crimes is stupid
- not prosecuting violent offenders is stupid

The political class is destroying DC both fiscally and socially. Many of them seem more concerned with punishing the demographics they don't like than with ensuring basic governance. Somehow we seem to have gotten stuck with the progressive version of MAGA idiots and we need a change.

Agree.

And these guys are purposefully trying to confuse you and distract you. While I know this will sound weird, it’s right out of the East German playbook. Danke, Comrade Allen

Carjackings, shootings, drug dealing

But again? Name one good thing.

I agree that the problems facing this city are awful. Crime is also down currently YoY by 18%. So is it Allen's fault we have crime, do we credit Allen now that crime is trending downwards, or do we come to the fact that one person is not responsible one way or the other for the crime wave

He is responsible for the impact of his legislation.

NOPE. He did not.

I don’t think Allen is particularly well positioned to take people to task over crime, having pretended it away this entire time.

He is the most useless member of Council. He adds absolutely nothing.

I mean, his constituents have been getting robbed and slaughtered for two years with no end in sight. He’s sitting next to two of the dudes he says are part of the problem. But nothing? He should get recalled on that alone.

For sure.

They all collude to spin and point fingers and maintain the status quo, I suspect.
