And yes, I would have never own a beach house in Virginia or Delaware. Too much pollution, expensive to maintain if you don't live there full time and boring. I prefer going places for beach, each time a new destination and it's way cheaper than maintenance on a beach house.

You can still own beach houses in Delaware and Virginia and still rent elsewhere.
I like the diversity of beach vacations too such as the Bahamas and western Caribbean.

Virginia beach NE is cleaner than Bethany btw.

The hardest is not to find the one who stays with you when the money is gone. It’s to find someone who won’t “upgrade” you when all the money in the world falls upon you after many years in humility, and when there are way more opportunities. The big money test is hardest in my experience. People tend to change unless they already came into marriage with money.

So it’s kind of you being already wealthy when you met your wife, and choosing her as a good fit for your de-facto wealthy lifestyle, is what kept you together. Plus both of you just being caring of others based on your love to animals. Few men like kittens; my exH was throwing a slipper at a family cat.

Blonde is easy. Sounds like losing the weight is just too hard for you? That's fine but you've answered your own question. You need to settle.

Loosing weight is extremely painful, expensive and hard work. Either endless gym hours or a liposuction of literally everything from neck to butt. It requires local numbing for best results, takes at least two 4hr long surgeries. Terrible pain during and after surgery for a few days; recovery time 6 months after each (with no dating dorks); courage not to look at yourself in the mirror and trust your surgeon. Also $20k "budget". These are strong women who achieve perfect bodies, one way or another.

Been there and I think now looking back gym and diet is easier. So now I just don't eat sugars&junk and in generally don't eat after 7pm.

My favorite memory at a castle in Croatia was all of these cats roaming freely up and down the castle stairs.
I (probably foolishly) gave one a treat and then all of a sudden I had about 20+ cats following us around Pied Piper style much to my wife's amusement & delight.
My favorite kitty was a Himalayan female sweetheart who was my baby when I was single.
I still grieve & miss her

Hi OP, guess what instead of looking outward o find happiness and rely on a husband to get me where I wan to be I worked my way into a 1m a year income. My husband makes a good living too.

Lower your standards and you’ll find a great guy. I married the chief building engineer of the building I work in. Much to my surprise, his take home salary exceeded mine. He’s a great guy, and even a better husband. His background is nothing like yours or any of your friends, he’s hardworking, not afraid to get dirty, or work late. We travel internationally, have a modest home in Chevy Chase, a few vehicles and a powerboat. Many of my friends questioned me initially, and now want to know if he has single friends. I found my diamond in the rough, and am nothing but happy!!

It really depends on the procedure: I did some things in Toronto, some in McLean, some in St Louis, MO. You need to interview and do a lot of research
