Anonymous wrote:Op, you need to work on your looks and weight. I am 43, and I had a smart lipo done on my butt, waist, belly neck while I was not even fat. I just want to be perfect (no flabby skin, no neck aging sings, perfect waist contours etc). Series of massage with warm wraps, swimming, fast walking helps to achieve perfect body and glowing looks.

It costs money to look good after certain age. I look 30+, not 40+ after my beauty regime. You are in the age when you are competing with attractive divorced women with money; and many of them would be more attractive comparing to you. I date men about same age as mine, 40-early 50s (divorced guys but LTR oriented, some still want kids or never had kids).

You should make this investment in yourself and you'll see the difference! Make sure you have around $20K "budget" for a makeover. You can even become blond (I chose not to).

The first paragraph of this literally cracked me up, and I thank you sincerely for that.

You're welcome. It's a serious sh..t though, and helps women look at their best and be confident. It was important to me and I am happy I did it and didn't bury myself in "body positivity". Because I just didn't feel very positive looking at my saggy neck in the mirror.

where do you go to get work done?

OMG you acting out Creep by Radiohead!

I don't care if it hurts
I wanna have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul…..

I want a SHF in Chevy Chase, private school for my kids and international vacations.

Its depressing.

Depressing is getting a date with such a D.C. women. She decided I am "worthy" because I have a graduate degree. Except she graduated from some private school where everyone gets an A and a participation trophy, while I graduated from a tech school where 50% of a competitive cohort flunked out. She shows up without makeup, expects me to pay for her drinks and appetizers, and expects the government to pay for her student loans. Per Bill Burr, she is a white woman who swung her Gucci-booted feet over the fence of oppression to place herself at the head of the reparations line.

Some women are born mediocre. Some women achieve mediocrity. And some women have mediocrity thrust upon them. This perfectly mediocre 5/10 woman feels entitled to a 9/10 man.

OP here. After putting myself through college and graduate school and acquiring a fulfilling and interesting policy job, I really do not want to marry some average joe making 100k a year so we can squeeze into a 500k townhouse in Vienna and take yearly vacations to OBX.

I want a SHF in Chevy Chase, private school for my kids and international vacations.

Why NOT me? Only because I am not blonde and skinny?

Its depressing.

Male here. With a SHF in Chevy Chase. Private school for my kids. You sound dull and materialistic. What do you bring to the table?[/quote]

+1

Thank you.

Blonde is easy. Sounds like losing the weight is just too hard for you? That's fine but you've answered your own question. You need to settle.

Loosing weight is extremely painful, expensive and hard work. Either endless gym hours or a liposuction of literally everything from neck to butt. It requires local numbing for best results, takes at least two 4hr long surgeries. Terrible pain during and after surgery for a few days; recovery time 6 months after each (with no dating dorks); courage not to look at yourself in the mirror and trust your surgeon. Also $20k "budget". These are strong women who achieve perfect bodies, one way or another.

Been there and I think now looking back gym and diet is easier. So now I just don't eat sugars&junk and in generally don't eat after 7pm.

Then don’t act like you’re just as good as those other women then.

I think humanity is dull in general.

Let me guess? McMansion with a white picket fence, beach vacations, 75” TV, dance classes, football team, max out retirement, Costco runs in Sunday. Did I miss anything?

Everybody talking to their pockets
Everybody wants a box of chocolates
And a long-stem rose
Everybody knows

Pay attention! It is a man who will buy her a $1.5MM fixer-upper in Chevy Chase and pay for fertility treatments while respecting her professional policy opinion that D.C. needs more affordable housing.

After reading only 2 pages of this thread, it's obvious there is a major discrepancy between what women think men want, and what men actually want.

DC is full of frumpy women who think they run stuff.

I am a landlord and based on tenants screenings the tech, lawyer, doctor 9/10 types are usually married to mediocrity (something like 70k local non for profit associates). And these women are not even particular good looking - they simply ended with right man at a right time and put out faster than others

No, this is a mediocrity man, too. A real tech 9/10 guy already has partnership at a successful startup, developed some product and sold his stock for a few mm. He already lives in a $3mm mansion in NW DC because he has his money in offshore accounts not W2 (the latter live in VA). He doesn’t count money that went for fertility treatments.

You either lock them in when you are in your 20s or try to land a 55* yr old divorcee in your 30s. That’s how DC rolls…

Non profits and a Masters degree does not make one special in DC…

Assuming this 55 yo divorcée wants to be an old dad and get a full economic dependent for a lightly younger body than 40 yo divorced women who are better looking as OP.

Eh a lot of those women have family money. Maybe not the renters but in a lot of those pairings.

This has GOT to be a troll. First of all, you need to really adjust your expectations - there are almost no townhomes for $500k in Vienna, for starters.
