That was my guess from the very beginning.

The mom admitted the baby was dead in the interview.

What did she say? I can't watch it.

That she fell asleep with him on her chest. She woke up and she had rolled over. He was unresponsive.

So she walked around the house, he was still unresponsive. Then talked to DHS, came back he was still unresponsive. Then she went for a walk around the block. She came back and he was unresponsive.

Then the next day she put him in car seat with a blanket, and took him out to the dumpster. She now doesn’t know where he is because the dumpster was emptied.

Her timeline doesn’t makes sense, but it’s pretty much a confession, only the police were not there, the news lady from WUSA9 was.

And said she wrapped him up (in his car seat ??) and took him outside and put him in the trash dumpster.

News indicated they are searching landfills in Virginia.

Does that matter for the confession to be used as evidence?

Maybe because of Miranda?

I can’t watch. What did the news lady do? Was she shocked? What did she say?

Miranda applies when _police_ are questioning you.

The difficulty in this case is if the baby isn't found, how can they prove she murdered it?

That would be considered racist because it will disproportionatly affect certain races more than others.

They only show the woman in the whole video. It took her seven minutes to spit out the whole story. I newscaster asked if you clarifying questions, but the whole thing was awkward and disturbing. The father speaks off camera in it as well.

The mother says baby was unresponsive so she took a walk to clear her mind. Then checked and baby was still unresponsive. Went about her business, some lady called to ask her questions (not clear about what) and in all this time she never called 911. She seemed sedated or high in the interview.

Yuck to mom and dad. Neither one of them seemed sad. Dad didn’t even care that just 30 mins ago he learned that his mother’s child threw the baby in the trash can. Disgusting on so many levels. I truly doubt this was SIDS by the way. May they find the baby to uncover the truth and save the rest of their children.

The rest of the children are in the system, because that’s why dad called to ask them where the baby was. They responded they didn’t know because there wasn’t an active case for the baby. That’s what got the ball rolling.

PP you are responding to...it depends on the area of the country. Where I’m from in the Midwest it would affect white people more, who also take drugs and neglect their children. It’s a nationwide problem among all races and ethnicities.

And it would be voluntary of course, but it would give people a monetary incentive to take control of their reproduction. Right now there is more financial incentives to have children.
