And also how does it not get reported for 2 days? What am I missing?

I saw this on the news this morning. I agree, how was he missing for 2 days before being reported?

Custody dispute where the child was not returned at the required time seems most likely. Or a sitter or family member was watching the child and didn't return him.

This is what I was thinking too but a quick Google search mentions nothing about who the kid was with or anything. That seems surprising to me. Usually there would be a BOLO for the last known person the baby was with. There seems to be NO information about anything surrounding the dissapearance.

It does seem weird that there's no additional information at all. Unless there is more known that they aren't sharing for some reason related to the people involved.

Seems almost certain that either the family involved or the police have more information than has been publicly disclosed.

No, it's not a custody dispute. She threw him in the trash and she's now named as a person of interest. You can't see the father in this interview, but you can hear him. So tragic.

Who was the lady? None of it made sense. It sounds like there were abuse/neglect allegations and it was child welfare. But, why didn't they look at the child? Why wouldn't you call 911? Why aren't they in jail?

The lady you see is the mother. You can hear the father in the background, he says he already has 3 kids in the system. The whole situation is so sad and tragic. I hope they find that baby boy.

That video interview of the mom is chilling. I wonder if she has postpartum depression/psychosis. That poor baby.

Why are they calling him missing? She admits in that interview that he’s dead. She rolled over on him while co-sleeping.

Oh my god. DC needs more of those safe baby boxes. So many people who should not be parents.

She was probably on drugs.

She certainly seems so on that video, given how disconnected her sentences are how zoned out she seemed with little remorse. Very sad.
