How does a 2 month old go missing?

And also how does it not get reported for 2 days? What am I missing?

usually it means that the parent killed the child and other family members reported to police that they have not seen the child since x date. if baby was kidnapped, the parent would report immediately. when the parent does not report, it's because parent did it. remember Casey Antony? mom dragged things with grandparents for weeks, until her mom cornered her and finally called the police on her daughter.

when parents do not report a missing child, especially so young, it always ends really bad unfortunately

Beyond disturbing. So sad.

If I were that reporter, I think I'd have PTSD.

So it's trying to find the baby's body in the trash??? The baby is dead. And I feel like I'm going to throw up.

Why isn’t the mother in custody?

The dad doesn’t sound too bright either. He called social services because they “keep track of his other kids”, and they didn’t have a case open for the baby so they didn’t know where he was. That’s how it got reported, two days later.

That was my guess from the very beginning.

Mom probably had PPD and her family was told to butt out and leave her alone.

Ladonia Boggs? Has a few domestic violence cases filed against her in DC Drugs and property destruction too. Looks like she has 6 other kids but who knows?

The mom admitted the baby was dead in the interview.

I know it's not a PC opinion, but we should absolutely pay people to get vasectomys and tubals, or some other semi-permanent BC (10 year IUD).

It's kind of disgusting that you're trying to use this family's tragedy as fodder for your totally unrelated view that people in D.C. are too tolerant of crime.

Many people think DC is too tolerant on crime. This child is just yet another innocent victim.
