So it's trying to find the baby's body in the trash??? The baby is dead. And I feel like I'm going to throw up.
That was my guess from the very beginning.
The mom admitted the baby was dead in the interview.
What did she say? I can't watch it.
That she fell asleep with him on her chest. She woke up and she had rolled over. He was unresponsive. So she walked around the house, he was still unresponsive. Then talked to DHS, came back he was still unresponsive. Then she went for a walk around the block. She came back and he was unresponsive. Then the next day she put him in car seat with a blanket, and took him out to the dumpster. She now doesn’t know where he is because the dumpster was emptied. Her timeline doesn’t makes sense, but it’s pretty much a confession, only the police were not there, the news lady from WUSA9 was.
Does that matter for the confession to be used as evidence?
Maybe because of Miranda?
Miranda applies when _police_ are questioning you. The difficulty in this case is if the baby isn't found, how can they prove she murdered it?
