Might want to show her the NY Times map of precinct by precinct voting for 2016. Those aren't Trump voters.

At my location, a significant amount of people were cancelling their absentee ballots so they could vote today.

I think at this stage she's immune to facts. I've told her point-blank that I can't stand Trump and she is still somehow convinced that I'm voting for him (he's the first R candidate I haven't voted for).

FYI - On October 14, Fairfax County will open 14 additional sites:

It's very safe. Only a few people are indoors (and EVERYONE was masked, and none of the under the nose business). The lines are all outdoors, spaced out, and masked. Vote when you feel safe, but it felt completely safe and respectful.

My follow mask wearing Virginians, don't forget to vote against question 1 (redistricting commission).

Go turnout, go vote. Don't rely on someone else to swing the state for you.

Yes it is. But of course people have to vote. I’d bet every penny in my bank account that Biden will win VA though. You’re living in the past if you think it’s a swing state.

Yup.

nobody gives a crap that the candidates aren't visiting us in VA. Seriously. We all know who we are voting for at this point. The Blue voters outnumber the red at this point. And many previously red are voting blue.

Yeah, it was cool living in NH during the 2008 election and seeing all the candidates during the primaries and general campaign but I don't need that to decide.

Pleasr, please wait to vote in a few weeks!

And if you requested a ballot, could you just use it? You have no idea how much work went into processing that request/ballot for you. Just mail it and track it. Save yourself the agony of waiting in line.

Election workers are getting crushed. If you see a line outside the building, you are looking at a minimum of 2 hrs. You have 6 weeks to get your ballot in.

Thanks to our election workers for volunteering their time and skills to secure our voting.

I’m waiting for my ballot in Minnesota, but I will admit that I’m getting antsy about it. I see that we had 900,000 ballot requests in Minnesota, and that the ballots should be arriving in the next few days, but man do I want to get that in my hand, and handed in to our drop off place!

If only the GOP wasn’t obsessed with trying to stop us all from voting, we wouldn’t have to schedule a four hour block to exercise our right to damn vote.
