Thoughts on Pampers Pure Diapers? We just got the regular pampers diapers with the indicator for the first three months. I like the indicator because that way you know the baby is hydrated. After that we switched to Luvs

Thoughts on the new Graco Pack n Play? I hate the pack n play. So heavy and impractical. We got the Guava Baby Lotus Travel Crib. Amazing. Its better than the equally light baby bjorn because it can be folded into a bag that comes with it. Super easy for traveling.

Thoughts on a baby Bjorn bouncer? Is it worth it or should we get a cheaper Fisher Price bouncer. Eeeh. The Baby Bjorn is a waste of money. We didn't use bouncers at all. But if you want want use the fisher price.

UppaBaby V2 stroller travel system? No opinion but uppa baby is a good brand.

Keekaroo worth it or a cheaper changing pad is fine? Skip hop portable changing pads are the best.

Thoughts on Pampers Pure Diapers?
We didn't use pure diapers and my 17 month old has only had 1 rash. All babies are different, but Pampers and Huggies have worked for us. I wouldn't automatically assume your baby is going to have sensitive skin (unless there's science behind your thinking!).

Thoughts on the new Graco Pack n Play?
We used our pack n play (with the raised setting) as a safe place to put newborn down on our first floor when he was an infant (We hoped he would nap in it, but LOL). Now that he is older we use it for travel sleep. I also used it for a while as a containment pen in my bedroom when I was getting ready for work in the morning and he was mobile (again, LOL at getting ready for work...)

Thoughts on a baby Bjorn bouncer? Is it worth it or should we get a cheaper Fisher Price bouncer.
Not familiar with Bjorn bouncer. We bought the Mamaroo and he hated it. Much preferred a $30 hand-me-down bouncer from a friend. One thing I didn't consider is how handy a bouncer is when babies are beginning to try cereal and purees. Still too small for a high chair, but they need to be elevated. If possible, it would be nice to have one with a cover that wipes down or can be thrown in the wash when most of the cereal ends up anywhere but their mouths.

UppaBaby V2 stroller travel system?
Love the UppaBaby, only complaint is that stuff gets pretty heavy -- but it has been great and I'd still buy it again. If I lived in like a 3rd floor walk up I'd probably check out some lighter weight options.

Keekaroo worth it or a cheaper changing pad is fine?
We had both and ended up tossing the cheaper changing pad due to some stains (had no idea what I was doing, didnt realize you needed a cover). Its nice how easily the Keekaroo wipes down, but you can buy several cheap changing pads for the same price so this one so I probably wouldn't do it again.

Honestly, no clue. Bought a crib at Pottery Barn and everything else was furniture we already owned (skipped the changing table, rocker, etc).

I have two keekaroos and to me it’s worth it because I’m not washing changing pads every time baby pees or poos on it which for us happens a lot !

I feel like this baffles me. I’ve had three kids, My youngest is 8 months, I’ve had a boy and girls and I feel like there have been only a handful of these incidents. Do you take a long time changing them or something?

I have boys and nobody’s ever pooped on the changing pad. Pee only a few
times when they were tiny.

I just got it with the bassinet attachment... I haven’t set it up yet but I love that it’s multi-use! Couldn’t decide between Guava or Halo for the bassinet but the Guava travel crib looks great so that was my deciding factor.

We inherited a Halo Bassinest and I actually hated it so much I went out and found a used Arm’s Reach Co-Sleeper. Much easier to get baby in and out of, much easier to put sheets on (Halo is a weird shape with envelope sheets). With the Halo I couldn’t reach over the side to soothe baby plus it has massive legs to trip over.

Yea, this is weird to me, too. Two babies, and I really don't think either of them has peed or pooped on the changing pad....?

FTM (due next month) and I feel like everything I read online tells me to get the rubber changing pads like kekaroo because it’s easy to wipe up all the messes, but I much prefer the regular kind of changing pad because they look so much comfier for baby! I’ll take your word for it (and PP’s) and just get a regular changing pad with a cover/some of those waterproof liners. Hoping it’s true that there aren’t TOO many huge messes on them.

Not at all related to the items you asked about (except the travel system) but I’m 3 months in as a FTM and would give up so many name brand things I just “had to have” for just my Doona. We’ve had a lot of doctors appointments and it’s such a huge help. Many things I would say were not worth buying, but the Doona I would pay much more than I did for the convenience and ease of getting around. Errands are actually enjoyable with a 3 month old.

We did have a lot of messes in the newborn days. More pee than poop, but DD was EBF so her poop was quite liquidy and would spill out of the diaper as we were taking it off. That being said we had a regular changing pad and we were fine. We just used the liners (like these https://www.amazon.com/Munchkin-Waterproof-Changing-Liners-Count/dp/B009UPUJIY) so when there was a mess we just through that in with the dirty clothes and put on a new one.

Pampers are fine. I prefer cloth diapers, but Pampers are my back-up.

Graco Pack n Play-- I actually prefer their most-basic version, but with bassinet. I have the one that has all kinds of accessories, including a napper, changing table, and frame for the napper, and I don't use any of those accessories.

I prefer the FP bouncer.

I have a Vista stroller and LOVE it. But I would never use it with a carseat (travel system). The carseat stays in the car. It should never be used in a stroller.

I have a Keekaroo, but 75% of the time, the babies just get changed on the floor or on a bed. Just throw one of the 100,000 receiving blankets you'll get on the floor or bed, and change the baby there.

I have no idea if my babies' cribs and dressers are GreenGuardGold Certified.

Yes to the uppbaby wool versions and greenguard gold solid wood furniture. We've been happy with a naturepedic mattress. We did the nuna sena aire and nuna leaf, too.

No exp with the keekaroo.

We got everything early and let it air out for quite a while, a month or more.
