The new Pack n Play comes with the bassinet area that can be taken off and changed two ways for a portable bassinet. We live in a house and would use it for a changer and place to set the baby down on the first floor.

My husband is more into diapers and wipes with very little chemicals and we heard Pampers Pure doesn't contain lots of irritants and chemicals.

We are probably going to buy GreenGuardGold certified furniture because it's lower emission and doesn't off gas chemicals. It's very expensive though.

The bouncer will be on our baby registry. I would like to put one on to have it.

We will be buying the stroller systems ourselves. It's one of the best rated and certain ones are not treated with harmful flame retardants.

I heard some people love the keekaroo and others said it was hard to clean and not worth it.

You know what's greener and doesn't have emissions? Used furniture. We love used furniture and it's much better made than current furniture.

Yep, used furniture is the ticket! We also got the bjorn bouncer and a swing thing used for less combined than the original cost of either so it doesn’t matter as much if baby likes it or not. Keekaroo is a waste of $$ but I wouldn’t turn it down if gifted.

Everything else on your list, doesnt have to be certain brands.

Definitely lifestyle dependent. We have dogs and walk a lot but we baby wear. Skipped right ahead to a lightweight travel stroller like the Minu. We also skipped the infant car seat and went straight for convertible.

I wish we had skipped the infant seat and gone to a convertible seat. Luckily I’m passing the infant seat along to a friend so it’ll get used, but in retrospect it was a waste of money! Glad you like the Minu—we just bought it for our 4 month old and are excited to try it out!

Thoughts on Pampers Pure Diapers?
Agree with others, see if your kid is sensitive before paying for these. The 6-10 diapers a day estimate is a joke. Both of our kids averaged 15 in the first few weeks. We used Pampers Swaddlers for size 0 and then switched to Target brand.

Thoughts on the new Graco Pack n Play?
As long as the PNP has a "bassinet setting" meaning the mattress can be raised, that's all you need. We actually threw away our little bassinet/changing part because our baby slept in the PNP in our room and the changer was always in the way.

Thoughts on a baby Bjorn bouncer? Is it worth it or should we get a cheaper Fisher Price bouncer.
Get a Fisher Price bouncer or a used Bjorn. This is something they can only use a short time and they might hate it. My sister has both and her baby likes them equally.

UppaBaby V2 stroller travel system?
Can't speak to this one, but agree with others that a nice stroller is a good place to splurge.

Keekaroo worth it or a cheaper changing pad is fine?
Cheap changing pads are fine (like the Summer Infant one), and I'd get one for every floor of your house.

Anyone else paying more for GreenGuardGold Certified nursery furniture?
I wouldn't spend a ton here, but get a good, new crib mattress.

Babies only use a bouncer for 3 months. Fisher price is fine and works great.

PNP - necessary - loved our Graco

Fancy stroller system. NO. Get an infant seat and snap and go for 6 months then decide what you need. I hated bulky strollers and preferred an umbrella for day to day and had a real jogger for outside

No I didn't pay more for nursery furniture you use for 2 years. Got an adult dresser and decent crib - spend more for a solid crib

I would think the keekaroo is worth it but they didn't have it when mine was little (or it just came out) but easy wipe/wash is good.

Most of the store brand diapers don't have the heavy gels - Walmart, Target, CVS brand. If you are worried do cloth.

Don't overspend on things that are costly and hardly used and only for a few months. Waste of money

Op, note that Greenguard gold certified furniture still off gases to some degree and isn’t completely toxin free. I researched this exhaustively and the only way to avoid the chemicals is to go for true solid wood furniture. Not all greenguard gold cribs are solid wood.

Thoughts on Pampers Pure Diapers? We used pampers swaddlers and pampers sensitive wipes and they were fine. Wait and see if your baby has really sensitive skin.

Thoughts on the new Graco Pack n Play? Get one!

Thoughts on a baby Bjorn bouncer? Is it worth it or should we get a cheaper Fisher Price bouncer. The cheaper one is fine.

UppaBaby V2 stroller travel system? Don’t know about this one. Whatever you like best and will work for you is great. Things that were important to me were that it fit in the trunk of my car, I could lift it up a couple stairs if needed, had a bassinet attachment and I could attach an infant car seat.

Keekaroo worth it or a cheaper changing pad is fine? Cheaper is fine. I got wipeable changing pad covers from Target to make cleanup easier.

Anyone else paying more for GreenGuardGold Certified nursery furniture? No.

Thoughts on the new Graco Pack n Play? Ours was from 2014 (cousin gave me her's), and we used the heck out of it. Never even bought a crib. Did get a better mattress.

Thoughts on a baby Bjorn bouncer? Is it worth it or should we get a cheaper Fisher Price bouncer. Was gifted a FP bouncer. Fine. Nice place to put baby when we ate those first few months.

UppaBaby V2 stroller travel system? None, because I'm anti travel systems.

Keekaroo worth it or a cheaper changing pad is fine? Cheap with a cover is fine.

Anyone else paying more for GreenGuardGold Certified nursery furniture? Nope. Didn't buy any nursery furniture, but I wouldn't pay extra for certified.

What is anti travel systems??

Pampers pure -- I havent used "Pure" but use Pampers Swaddlers and Babydry, both are terrific. My only problem with the Baby Dry is there are characters on both the back and front of the diaper so i have to stop a second to figure out which side is the front.

Uppababy -- I have the Cruz (not vista) with the bassinet insert and infant snug seat and the Mesa car seat. I love this stroller, its rides so smoothly and all of the items are super easy to use.

Keekaroo -- I love this thing so much. I will change diapers day and night for the next 3+ years. The $100 cost (assuming you will have a BBB 20% coupon) is well worth it. When your baby inevitably pees on the changing table in the middle of the night you will be v. happy to have it.

Haha I think PP just means she doesn’t like travel systems.

Travel Systems are the infant car seats that click into a stroller base. There’s also a real stroller seat that you can click into the base when the baby outgrows the infant car seat.

A diaper is a diaper.

I prefer the baby bjorn travel crib...pack n plays are onerous to set up

Fisher price bouncer is fine

I love my uppababy system but have a friend who hated it. This is personal preference go to a store and see if you can touch and push a bunch

Keekaroo is IMO the most pointless baby thing on the planet. I really do not get it. I have a regular changing pad and have never thought anything bad about it.

If you're into chemical free diapers there are a bunch. My DH is also into environmental friendliness so we buy the Andy Pandy diapers which are bamboo. I like their simplicity. I have found that when really full they do get more damp on the outside than other diapers but we're okay with that. We've bought regular pampers every now and again when we were in a bind and I did not like how overwhelming the scent was.

Do not get the baby bjorn travel crib for a newborn. It does not have the bassinet thing so the baby will be all the way down on the floor level. I like it for an older infant/toddler who can stand, but not for a newborn. Get the Graco.

I'm the PP. I guess it all depends on what you need stuff for. We got a pretty no frills changing table off amazon (I think this one: https://www.amazon.com/Badger-Basket-Sleigh-Changing-Baskets/dp/B001FA0CN4?ref_=ast_sto_dp) so we didn't need that part. But we have basically never had a playpen set up for our kids (I have 3). They are in the swing/bouncy chair, then they're on the mat and crawling around and we had gates in critical places. It is pretty rare we really needed full containment.

For us we drove and traveled a lot so having something more portable was much more important.

But this is again, a decision that should be based on your lifestyle, different ways of life, different tools are helpful.
