I'm expecting my first and starting a registry and getting things for the baby. I have ideas of what I want but would love feedback about if the items are worth it? Thoughts on Pampers Pure Diapers? We didn't use pure diapers and my 17 month old has only had 1 rash. All babies are different, but Pampers and Huggies have worked for us. I wouldn't automatically assume your baby is going to have sensitive skin (unless there's science behind your thinking!). Thoughts on the new Graco Pack n Play? We used our pack n play (with the raised setting) as a safe place to put newborn down on our first floor when he was an infant (We hoped he would nap in it, but LOL). Now that he is older we use it for travel sleep. I also used it for a while as a containment pen in my bedroom when I was getting ready for work in the morning and he was mobile (again, LOL at getting ready for work...) Thoughts on a baby Bjorn bouncer? Is it worth it or should we get a cheaper Fisher Price bouncer. Not familiar with Bjorn bouncer. We bought the Mamaroo and he hated it. Much preferred a $30 hand-me-down bouncer from a friend. One thing I didn't consider is how handy a bouncer is when babies are beginning to try cereal and purees. Still too small for a high chair, but they need to be elevated. If possible, it would be nice to have one with a cover that wipes down or can be thrown in the wash when most of the cereal ends up anywhere but their mouths. UppaBaby V2 stroller travel system? Love the UppaBaby, only complaint is that stuff gets pretty heavy -- but it has been great and I'd still buy it again. If I lived in like a 3rd floor walk up I'd probably check out some lighter weight options. Keekaroo worth it or a cheaper changing pad is fine? We had both and ended up tossing the cheaper changing pad due to some stains (had no idea what I was doing, didnt realize you needed a cover). Its nice how easily the Keekaroo wipes down, but you can buy several cheap changing pads for the same price so this one so I probably wouldn't do it again. Anyone else paying more for GreenGuardGold Certified nursery furniture? Honestly, no clue. Bought a crib at Pottery Barn and everything else was furniture we already owned (skipped the changing table, rocker, etc).
