I have two keekaroos and to me it’s worth it because I’m not washing changing pads every time baby pees or poos on it which for us happens a lot !
I feel like this baffles me. I’ve had three kids, My youngest is 8 months, I’ve had a boy and girls and I feel like there have been only a handful of these incidents. Do you take a long time changing them or something?
I have boys and nobody’s ever pooped on the changing pad. Pee only a few times when they were tiny.
Yea, this is weird to me, too. Two babies, and I really don't think either of them has peed or pooped on the changing pad....?
FTM (due next month) and I feel like everything I read online tells me to get the rubber changing pads like kekaroo because it’s easy to wipe up all the messes, but I much prefer the regular kind of changing pad because they look so much comfier for baby! I’ll take your word for it (and PP’s) and just get a regular changing pad with a cover/some of those waterproof liners. Hoping it’s true that there aren’t TOO many huge messes on them.
We did have a lot of messes in the newborn days. More pee than poop, but DD was EBF so her poop was quite liquidy and would spill out of the diaper as we were taking it off. That being said we had a regular changing pad and we were fine. We just used the liners (like these https://www.amazon.com/Munchkin-Waterproof-Changing-Liners-Count/dp/B009UPUJIY) so when there was a mess we just through that in with the dirty clothes and put on a new one.
