I'm expecting my first and starting a registry and getting things for the baby. I have ideas of what I want but would love feedback about if the items are worth it? Thoughts on Pampers Pure Diapers? Thoughts on the new Graco Pack n Play? Thoughts on a baby Bjorn bouncer? Is it worth it or should we get a cheaper Fisher Price bouncer. UppaBaby V2 stroller travel system? Keekaroo worth it or a cheaper changing pad is fine? Anyone else paying more for GreenGuardGold Certified nursery furniture?
Pampers are fine. I prefer cloth diapers, but Pampers are my back-up. Graco Pack n Play-- I actually prefer their most-basic version, but with bassinet. I have the one that has all kinds of accessories, including a napper, changing table, and frame for the napper, and I don't use any of those accessories. I prefer the FP bouncer. I have a Vista stroller and LOVE it. But I would never use it with a carseat (travel system). The carseat stays in the car. It should never be used in a stroller. I have a Keekaroo, but 75% of the time, the babies just get changed on the floor or on a bed. Just throw one of the 100,000 receiving blankets you'll get on the floor or bed, and change the baby there. I have no idea if my babies' cribs and dressers are GreenGuardGold Certified.
