Whole Foods on Wisconsin Avenue in Glover Park. We shop there way too often because it's close to our house, but we also love it because just about everyone who works there seems happy and pleased to help. We've been given free cookies, free hot pretzels, and much more. They also accept returns with no questions asked.
Toy kingdom, Rockville town center. The absolute best. They've even assembled anything we needed built, for free, and delivered! Any time we need toys or kids gifts we go there.
REI. They have great products and you can not beat their return policy. I was in the store when a customer returned a bike that he had obviously ridden for three years. I looked on in amazement as the customer's money was returned. Also, REI gives you end of the year rebates on all your purchases.
Great Beginnings. I ordered something online that was no longer stocked and the follow up and solution oriented service was wonderful.
No, it doesn't. I've returned a couple things that had issues (fabric getting weird) after a short-ish period of use, between 3 and 6 months. No questions asked. They guarantee quality forever. That said, I wouldn't just return something that wore out because I used it too much. Only for what I considered a manufacturing defect that didn't show up until later. Also love Land's End. |

Bed Bath and Beyond for sure...took back a humidifier that busted two years ago. I didn't have my receipt but did have the box it came in. They scanned the box, told me what I paid for it and then told me to pick out a new one..if I didn't want a new one I could have gotten store credit..if I had my receipt I could have gotten my money back...two years later. HA. EXCELLENT.
Also ProFlowers has great customer service. Sent someone flowers, they said that some were dead upon arrival. I emailed them, they responed within hours and had me pick something else out that they shipped right away free of charge. |
Amazon, plus I recently ordered something from Drugstore.com for the first time and it arrived 2 days later carefully packed-and this was a week before X-mas.
Not a retailer, but Southwest Airlines. It's our first choice whenever we travel, and both my and DH's families are in cities serviced by SWA.
Love Costco. Most of the customer service people there have been helpful. Costco, costco, costco. Who knew I would grow up and love this type of place. Oh, well. I save $ there.
Slightly different, but I think Chick Fil A is the best fast food place with GREAT customer service. You just don't get that kind of politeness from places that aren't high end.
Oh I have to agree about Southwest Airlines also. In addition to the fact that they're pretty much the only airline that doesn't charge for your first checked bag and the fact that their seating system works smoothly, I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Granted I'm not morbidly obese and I don't wear miniskirts, but one time I brought dc's carseat onto the airplane and they told me it was not an FAA approved one so I couldn't use it. They checked the seat at the gate and said I could pick it up at my destination. Well I didn't know how these things worked and I never got a ticket for it and it wasn't at my final destination when I arrived. So I went to the luggage service people and I couldn't even remember the maker of the carseat, just the colors. I figured it was gone forever, but she took a report and gave me one of their carseats to use for free. By the end of my trip a few days later, they found the carseat and handed it back to me along with a $50 voucher.
Childs Play at Halpine Shopping Center - the staff is really knowledgeable about their inventory, and they are super helpful with ideas and picking out stuff.
