This thread is not about President Trump, and it's not about building the wall. And neither was the rally in Rockville today. This is about Montgomery County not dropping a dime to call ICE when they have a bad guy in custody. Plain and simple.

Because they plan on trying him, convicting him and putting him in jail.

Or they'll drop the charges AGAIN and let him go fee to assault another innocent woman AGAIN. MoCo protects criminals

Why assume that? There are lots of people from African nations showing up at the southern border. Namely because some people and politicians here are loudly whining about not needing a border wall and they see it is wide open to travel there and sneak in, along with people from other far flung places. China, India, etc. All showing up

I assume that because:

1. Most illegal immigrants in the past few years arrive with visas and overstay their visas
2. A small amount do come from down south, but not the majority

Again, a border doesn't stop visa overstays, which account for the majority of illegal immigrants in the past few years, per DHS.

By 2040, the county will be a majority minority (75% minority, 25% non-minority). If you read the Montgomery County Planning Commission's report, population growth for the county is almost entirely driven by 'international migration'....which is just code speak for illegal immigration. The single largest country of origin for new arrivals is from El Salvador. MoCo faces an exploding population of baby boomers who's HHI, on average, is only $45,000. Homeownership rates for younger people in MoCo (45 years old and below) is dropping drastically while homeownership rates for old people aged 65 and older is increasing. The number of people who will be in their prime earning years is set to decrease from now until 2040 while the number of retirees who'll provide almost no taxable revenue on their income is increasing. The huge influx of illegal immigration into the county is straining schools and school capacity, and county has to spend millions of dollars per year on ESL teachers. On top of that, the county will be expected to build more schools to handle capacity and the large amount of students from parents who came here illegally. MoCo is not growing economically and creating almost no jobs.

The entire county is going down the tubes. It is a combination of increasing budget deficits, illegal immigration that's straining the capacity for schools, declining tax revenue, increasing unaffordability, increasing retirees who are hogging homes + will require tremendous amounts of resources/pension payouts, and 0 economic growth. What it means is that taxes are almost certain to go up on whoever is left in the county that is still young and in their prime earning years. School quality and public services will deteriorate as the crunch for the county's finances becomes worse. People will flee. And the cycle will keep repeating itself until the county is decimated.
