Namely because some people and politicians here are loudly whining about not needing a border wall and they see it is wide open to travel there and sneak in, along with people from other far flung places. China, India, etc. All showing up[/quote] I assume that because: 1. Most illegal immigrants in the past few years arrive with visas and overstay their visas 2. A small amount do come from down south, but not the majority Again, a border doesn't stop visa overstays, which account for the majority of illegal immigrants in the past few years, per DHS.[/quote]
