S/O: Ladies do you ever think about your exes?

I do. But I am a professional psychic and it's because he thinks of me a lot- being psychic I feel it when he does. I still have fond feelings for him and we had a very deep connection so I don't mind terribly. But it can be intrusive. I care about him also though so it's not the worst thing ever. But it can be difficult when it's frequent

Are you really a professional psychic as in make a living from it? And how do you KNOW he thinks of you a lot, is that really how it works? Do you think it goes both ways?

Are you really a professional psychic as in make a living from it? And how do you KNOW he thinks of you a lot, is that really how it works? Do you think it goes both ways?

Yes I am! I do know. Psychic work is interesting, and somewhat hard to describe to someone who doesn't do it. But it feels like an intrusion- like someone pulling at your consciousness. I don't have children but I imagine it's a bit like washing the dishes and you feel your toddler child continuously grabbing at your skirt, until finally you look down and see them. I've also gotten other psychic readings (most professional psychics ask others to do readings for them- kind of like a lawyer never handles their own cases, as its good to have a second opinion) and they always pick up on his energy too. For a while I was very annoyed as it is a bit of a nuisance and a deterrent to moving on. But unless I wanted to do some kind of intense energy removal spell (which I've considered), I'm stuck with it. It's also kind of comforting at times, because I can tap into him when I need to, and it's nice to know he thinks of me.

BTW- I think most people are capable of psychic energy. They've done studies that have demonstrated this. If you suddenly get an intense thought of a person from your past, apropos of nothing and very concentrated- chances are that's psychic energy being directed at you. Professional psychics just learn to channel this until we get paid for it. But most people are capable of giving and receiving psychic energy.

That's super interesting! I totally believe this because I have experienced it as well, although I'm not a professional. How did you get into that? How did you practice / hone it?

I had similar things going on with an ex, for yearrrrs. Most recently, we hadn't communicated at ALL in over a year and a half...then BAM I had 3 nights of intense dreams about him and he was suddenly constantly at the forefront of my mind. And lo and behold, that week he texted me and said "Your ESP is working...". 'Twas crazy, and it's kind of always been like that with us. We're not together and haven't seen each other in almost a decade, but he's always just kind of THERE in my consciousness, even though generally not in the forefront. Anyways, recently I was having some body work done and she talked about sensing his energy, and about how there was a "cord" to him - she has been able to work to kind of free it and I swear to god I feel different. More free.

(And yes I know most of you are going to read this whole post and scoff hard. But I feel your PP! And it's fun to be able to talk about this stuff, I think it's so fascinating)

There were only two serious guys before my DH and when I think about them I'm very happy to be with DH. The first had a commitment phobia and never wed. The second was a Harvard MBA whose career briefly took off like a rocket and he ended up living in a tract home in California doing very little. That guy was very well hung but was clueless how to use it effectively.

NP but no, it's not about the size. It's about his skills / attitude / enthusiasm in bed. Which, of course, I know also had something to do with the fact that we were 23 and only dated for a few years - obviously it's going to be a different story with my husband, who I've been with for 10 years (and live with, go through the every day crap with, etc.). I don't wish I was with him, but yes sometimes I think about the sex we had - and yes I'm a woman and no it was not bc he was particularly hung
