As a parent who considers themselves attentive, I wonder how the girl hid it from her mom for so long. He picked her up at her house. Bought her expensive items. I wonder what I don't know..

Topless bar no less. It's a story that is too old to show up in the search that they do. A google search may violate HR policy.

What?? I hire people for a crappy tech job and do Google searches. How can that be allowed? A Google search should NOT violate HR policy. If it does, that seems like something that should be changed.

Do you have a 17 year-old? Or are you an "attentive parent" to a young teen or an even younger child?

I know what I'm doing over Spring Break: looking up my kid's teachers on the Maryland Judiciary Case Search site.

Good idea! Since MCPS appears to be unconcerned.

Do you have a link?

Absentee parenting is rampant in rich Montgomery County, and those who try to keep up with them.

Search first with their formal names and then nicknames and shortened versions of their first names. Bonus points if you have a middle name to include in the search.

I keep track of someone through the Md. Judiciary and I find separate information when I do different versions of the name.

DP - That may be true, but still. This 57 year old a$$hole was preying on this girl. He should not even have been hired.

Agreed. I think they knew who they were getting.

You think they purposely hired a guy that they thought would prey on students? I think they may have sloppy hiring practices but do not believe it was purposeful. Her family didn't know but the school did?

You really think no one at the school suspected what was going on?
