What boxed gift does my fashion-forward, beautiful 21 yr old niece want for Christmas (up to $500)?

If she's a young professional, a good bag or wallet might be nice. Tory Burch or Kate Spade do nice ones for around $250-300 or you could get a higher-end designer wallet.

If she's into jewelry, maybe a Tiffany piece? You can get earrings, a bracelet, or even a necklace. As long as you don't get one of the "younger" pieces like the heart pendant, she can wear it for years.

You can never go wrong with Tiffany. A silver bangle. Engrave the inside with date and initials.

I think of Tiffanys more as a sweet 16 or Bat Mitzvah gift. My girls were over Tiffanys by college.

My DD who is 16 suggests a Birch Box subscription which is a monthly subscription to high end beauty product samples. A 12 month subscription is only $110.

All the Tom Ford perfumes are nice.

A Sephora gift set of most popular items is also fun.

Tiffany (singular) is classy. If one has class to begin with, one never gets "over it".

Their website is: https://theconfettiboutique.info/ I just ordered the black fox fur slides and I can't wait to get them.

You also can't go wrong with anything Alexander Wang for her. The Mini Rockie bags are actually on sale right now and the lavender one is tres chic. You can check out all of them here: http://www.alexanderwang.com/us/shop/alexander-wang/women/bags

If you want to go safe and traditional, definitely do the Hermes belt. BUT the belts are above your $500 price range.

Are you a personal shopper? Because I would hire you. Damn .

Haha, I'm a publicist but I do A LOT of shopping for my clients. If you need gift suggestions or suggestions for yourself on anything, just post in this thread and I'll do my best to give you some great ideas!

Really? Because that would be amazing, although it's actually for me . I am a 35 year old attorney and I really want a new everyday bag that looks polished but slightly edgy. Medium-sized...I was thinking about a MG bucket bag but those had such a moment in 2015 that I wonder if it will be over soon. I also tend to prefer bags that have a handle and a shoulder strap...Budget preferably $1K or less, but I'd swing for the fences if it were amazing.

Publicist PP here. I'm going in for minor-ish surgery at 2:15 today so I can't work on this today but give me through the weekend and I'll post a list of recommendations!

Depends. The low end stuff they peddle is pretty low class.

The high end stuff is overpriced.

Agreed. I got T&Co stuff for every birthday and holiday in high school so i was over it in college.

I would go with one of those Alexander Wang bags or find a cool heirloom piece of jewelry from Everything But the House that she'll have forever.

OP here. Niece definitely has every Tiffany piece she wants. Her "everyday" handbag is Balenciaga city (when she's not lugging her trusty JanSport backpack) and she has a small Gucci wallet.
To the publicist pp: good luck on the minorish surgery -- come back and help us out!

But if she is vegetarian or cares about the earth she will NOT want Sephora. My vegetarian DD likes Elf makeup.

By the way, I'm thinking about this: http://sophiehulme.com/us/charcoal-grey-albion-east-west-tote-661.html . Polished but lacking edge...
