Anywhere in East or Central Asia, other than (perhaps) Hong Kong. Sub-Saharan Africa. Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, etc.

That building in Chicago with the glass floor.

But would you go to k2?

Lower than Everest...

How much climbing would I have to do? Any precarious cliffs that I would have to navigate?

Those Everest climbing documentaries scare me.

K2 is harder than Everest.

Climbing any very high mountain - they are high, cold, and increasing pointy. I don't need to visit to learn that.

Most cruises - I go on vacation to get away from the folks back home. Why bring them with me? Plus, a 24 hour buffet would be my undoing. I may do one of the Shetland and Orkney Islands though. You do need a boat to visit Islands.

Any skydiving venue. I was going to include all NASCAR venues, but it occurs to me that at a NASCAR track, I could probably eat Velveeta nachos without shame, which is worth something in and of itself.

I'm kind of surprised at some of these... you can go to Jamaica or the DR and not stay at an all inclusive. I've done it and its lovely. And Alaska is supposed to be beautiful!

Bolivia sounds awesome, so does Poland.

But +1 on no cruises, no middle east.

Anywhere in Asia.

India. Many I know have gotten really sick, one with a horrific parasite that took months to diagnose. So I'm sure it's an amazing place, but I'll pass.

I went on an Alaskan cruise and it was awesome. Sitting on the deck in a blanket watching whales breech and seeing incredible scenery go by was incredible. That said, I will never go on another cruise ever again. And I'd never go on a tropical cruise. They really are gross.

Too lazy to rewrite this myself, so i'll just add to your list
China/Vietnam/N. Korea (too poor and dirty for last two and too crowded for first)
India/Bangladesh/Pakistan (see Africa and middle east above)

and remove one:
I would totally go (and have been) to rainforest, just on organized excursion, not camping. Come to think of it, lets add camping to no go list all together!

Alaska. India. Anywhere resort-confined.

Northwest Pakistan/Waziristan
South Sudan
Chad

I would love to visit China...BUT, and this is a big but, my sister went for a multi month business trip and her hair started falling out. It was on the top front too. Fortunately it came back after she returned to the states, but still.

They went to industrial areas and stayed in nice hotels.

She also said those areas did not have birds because the polution has killed off the bugs and tye ecosystem is dying from the bottom up.

So, until China fixes its polution issue and starts csring at least a tiny bit about the world, no China for me.

The Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and the like.

I've seen pictures from friends' vacations, and it looks boring. I can't imagine spending two weeks hiking, camping or even glamping...seems miserable.
