To the PP that ridiculed principal's statement, she can't win for losing with some of you. She absolutely should not have asked students to come forward. Especially if the subjects are known to the victim or others that already can't forward. You never want a principal encouraging teens to be potential witnesses at a gang trial of its not absolutely critical. Even then, that is on MPD to ask for witnesses not a principal.

I can't follow your logic. First you suggest that the criminals are not Wilson students. Then you say that the principal should not encourage students to come forward presumably because of the threat that gang members pose to other students.

If these are "students" they need to be expelled with extreme prejudice and then sent away to a hard time prison.

I am hispanic but south american, born raised in georgetown and north arlington and nw dc and I totally agree with that statement about deporting illegal gangbangers or send them to fight the war instead of causing so much crime.

Very upsetting. But if any students have such visible tattoos, shouldn't that be a warning sign to the administration and the police? Can the school do what the US military does, which is to ban certain types of tattoos? That could help to weed out certain bad gang actors.

1) whether the suspects are Wilson students;
2) whether the suspects are gang members;
3) whether the suspects are non-citizens;
4) whether the "suspects" are even the ones who did it.

NP here. The poster above simply said that if the MS13 gang members who stabbed the Wilson student are illegal aliens they should be deported. You say that the poster is disgusting. Your reasons: 1) a large majority of 15-17 old Hispanics are citizen - so what? the PP simply said that if the perpetrators are illegal they should be deported, what's relevant is their status, not the status of the large majority. 2) we should not bring down Wilson - what has this to do with the fact that the PP is disgusting in your opinion? ran our of arguments already? then you talk about the Principal, again this has nothing to do with why the PP should be considered disgusting.

We don't know that happened, maybe these were students with no connection whatsoever to gangs, there was an argument, one student had a small knife and a child was stabbed. But the PP was responding to the allegation that the perps might be gang members. If so, saying that they should be deported if are here illegally seems a no brainer. Do you think that violent gang members who are in this country illegally and go around stubbing teenagers after school should stay in the country?

Nope, I am really curious if they are students, didn't know if it was reported yet. I am staying whether they are students or not, the principal should NOT encourage students to come forward unless explicitly asksed by MPD.
