Tell me what you eat for lunch at work

Quiona, with dried fruit or nuts. Homemade vegetable soup. Cheese sandwich w side of carrots. I eat the same thing all week; make a batch of whatever on Sunday. Vegetarian, refuse to use the nasty microwave.

Don't you feel hungry before dinner?

No because I eat several small meals. For example, today I had plain Greek yogurt with 1/2 cup homemade granola around 7, a clementine around 10, kind bar and water at 12:30, some almonds and half an apple around 3:30 and for dinner at 7 I had salad and a small steak. I don't feel well if I eat a lot at one time, I feel better when I space it out.

A clementine is not a "small meal." Hell, it's not even a snack. It's one clementine.

Exhibit 1, eating disorder. Those are snacks, not small meals, except perhaps the dinner depending on its size. But if the steak was clementine sized, it was a snack too.

+1. That's like 800 calories. Unless you are an oompa loompa, that is not nearly enough.

Greek yogurt cup with 1/3 cup granola added and either an orange or two clementines. Every day.

Leftovers about 90% of the time. Yesterday and today it was homemade carrot ginger soup. Tomorrow will be Italian sausage and peppers. Thursday will be a mock chicken parmesan and roasted asparagus. Friday will be grilled flank stead and roasted broccoli. Depending on the quantity of leftovers, I will sometimes throw a piece of fruit in for an afternoon snack. I also have a stash of granola and Lara bars in my desk. I find my leftovers are generally better for me and more cost effective than anything I can purchase close to my office.

When I don't have leftovers, I will either buy an omelet for breakfast and have my yogurt and fruit for lunch, or go to Potbelly for a salad.

Today I had a Greek yogurt cup, some sliced cheese from whatever block I had in the fridge, an apple and a pear.

Yesterday I had slices of leftover rotissere chicken, some of the same cheese as above, and an apple.

Tomorrow I'll likely have some of the leftover marinated boar I made for dinner last night, cheese, and an orange since I need to finish them before they go bad.

So basically a mix of leftovers and yogurts. I eat out for lunch maybe once or twice a month and usually get some sort of hot sandwich since it's a treat to have hot food as I won't go near the microwave at my office.

What do you order?

Salad from Roti or Chopt. Tuna wrap. Go out with a colleague once or twice a week, usually Mexican or sushi.

We rarely have leftovers, but if I do I'll bring them, assuming the Smell Police won't bitch about it.

Oh, we also have very good pizza nearby, but I try to limit that to once or twice a month

Yesterday I had honey grilled salmon (cold! cold! I don't offend the rest of the floor by warming it up, lol) and greek yogurt, string cheese & a salad.

Today I had Blackbean soup.

I feel like I should have soup again tomorrow, just because.
