Point is that he has been wanted since the end of Clinton's term. People forget that, including the President himself, who didn't mention the 17 sailors that were killed and the 39 others that were injured. He says it's been nearly 10 years but it's been nearly 11. This is the third president that's wanted to get him. Thank the Military, not Obama. It's not an anti-Dem or Pro-Rep statement.

Well, what they're doing is not responsible, though I expect the danger will come later. I don't think we should be photographed chanting and celebrating because that makes it hard to buy us as good guys. This kind of news needs to be greeted with a little quiet relief, some sober reflection on the ugliness of past events, and a gritty determination to deal with whatever comes next in a fight that's far from over. I wish the president had reminded us all to not act in a way that could be misconstrued as bloodthirsty or even boob-ish.
