Do you not understand how an anonymous forum works? |
Fortunately, yes. |
This was almost an entire year ago. |
Oh come on. Most of us are parents on here, and a lot are the original cohort of DCUM who have teenagers and young adults. Kelly Osborne is NOT a well-known figure for this demographic. Most teens have never heard of her. Don't generalize. |

So, it's not the glp1 causing the anorexia. The untreated anorexia, combined possibly with glp1 use (abuse, actually), is causing the extreme weight loss. If you don't have anorexia, you don't get it from the meds.
We saw celebrity deaths from anorexia, sadly, before glp1s were invented. The vast vast majority of people who use them do not have anorexia, and many successfully lose weight and improve their overall health. They may see improvements in blood sugar levels, aic's, cholesterol, blood pressure, and a decreased risk of stroke and heart attack. |
The problem is more this is an easily accessible medication if you have unlimited funds. There really are no regulations as to who is getting it as long as they are paying for it. For example, I do actually need it for specific hormone levels that have been completely regulated by it. But all it took was one telahealth appointment where they asked my stats (weight/height) but there was absolutely no real checks up on that. |
That's not a problem with GLP1 meds. That is a problem with incompetent (or perhaps just unethical) POM. |
Heart attack. |
| Karen Carpenter didn't need GLPs. EDs gonna ED. RIP |
| Good. |
Ok but she doesn’t look that way because of GLPs she looks that way because of excessive surgeries. GLPs are weight loss meds that are prescribed legally and correctly for a population that is more overweight than we have ever been in the history of the world. It’s like saying that no one should ever have morphine because some people use morphine for chronic pain and some people use it to get high. Except people who might use GLPs to feed their anorexia aren’t hurting anyone but themselves unlike drug sddicts who crash cars and rob people to get cash |
My thoughts exactly. Yes, we will see deaths but they will say it was something else. |
Her weight is absolutely an issue. Poor thing... there's a lot going on with her. I hope she is able to get help but she has a lot to overcome. |
+1 She looks that way because of surgery + bad botox/filler + she is over 40 (even though people still think of her as a teenager) + the weight loss + the fact that she was always unattractive. |
Well, exactly. In the past year several of you inexplicably missed this. It's not like she put the weight on since then. |
