GLP1 Celebrity anorexia - are we going to see deaths?

Anonymous
Morbid curiosity - are we going to see celebrities starve themselves to death?

So far Kelly Osborne and Demi Moore are front runners...

...if this happens is the FDA going to crack down on its use?

I agree that Demi Moore looks unwell (haven't seen Kelly Osborne in a decade), but what would that crackdown look like? This is a prescribed drug so they're presumably under a doctor's care -- would you want a BMI test and when you drop below 19 you need to be off of it or also have a therapist sign off?

How have you not seen the pictures of Kelly Osborne??? They are everywhere. She looks 30 years older than her age (at least) and absolutely terrible.

Well I imagine anyone that is Rxing to them now would be sued...but yeah that the FDA makes it much harder to obtain.

This comment made me google it and holy crap. She looks like a Joan Rivers impersonator or something. WTF.

We will. That chick from half baked harvest is on her way, sadly. Although she seems to be anorexic and not on GLP’s, the celebs using GLP’s to get skeletal are setting a horrific precedent that will have horrible consequences.

Not PP, but I haven't seen pictures of Kelly Osborne. We aren't all obsessing over (or even looking at) TMZ or People Magazine or whatever your algorithm seems to be feeding you...

I think more than weight loss is going on there. Probably some surgery that doesn't look good that likely arose out of some body dysmorphia with regard to her face. Maybe just injectables gone wrong or overdone or both, but more likely surgery. And don't underestimate the power of blonde hair on the wrong person to make them look truly awful -- I think some of that is going on as well. So likely a combo of Ozempic face (which is just drastic weight loss face) with either bad injectables or surgery along with that blonde hair that ages her. And don't forget that she is over 40 at this point and was never an attractive person.

We've "seen deaths" long before GLP1 drugs. Karen Carpenter comes immediately to mind. They usually say it was something else.

Kelly Osborne looks like a cartoon caricature of her mother or an AI version of the instructions were, “make an alien skeleton bobble head of Kelly Osborne.”

It’s really, really bad…and if makes me so sad because Kelly looked cute and healthy before she went down the ozempic path.

Demi Moore has always been crazy and body obsessed. But she’s taken it to a new level. Her upper arms look like what’s underneath your skin. Gross.

Invest in biotech and drug companies that make treatments for osteoporosis, because it’s about to do its big one with all this extreme weight loss.

Osteopenia risks increase with low BMI, but it’s easily treatable and reversible, as my mother and all her sisters can attest.

Mostly, I don’t think Americans understand what a normal BMI, after years of the obesity epidemic! I have a normal body frame and my BMI is 19. I used to be 17 as a young adult. The normal range is 18.5 - 24.9, and for families like mine, we’re naturally at the low end. My adult son is around 17 BMI. None of us use weight loss drugs, obviously. And we’re all healthy, with that one osteoporosis caveat that we know how to handle. We’re not going to force ourselves to eat more just to reduce it! We take vit D supplements and exercise and at a certain age, we will need DEXA scans.

Demi Moore looks fine and is smart enough to keep herself healthy. However, I agree that a small subset of truly anorexic patients should not get their hands on weight loss drugs.

^^I knew not because of algorithms, but because the teenagers in my life were going on about how unhealthy she looks.

That’s Kelly Osborne??? Her weight isn’t the issue here, her face is completely different. I can recognize many celebrities after plastic surgery but I do not recognize even a little bit of her bone structure, facial features, etc
