Democrats less popular than ICE

Exactly this. The Dems don’t actually stand for anything constructive and concrete. You can’t just say I’m not Trump, that’s not going to work. Hillary tried that and lost. What will you do different from Trump, be specific, no platitudes.

+1 In all of Harris' speech, she just kept repeating the same lines about how Trump is a crook (we know), and she's a lawyer and believes in law and order. She also said she would continue with Biden's policies, including his immigration policies which the country did not like. And before anyone defends Biden's policy on immigration, remember that he did not take any action until his 3rd year, which by the time was too late (he should've taken serious action on day 1), and that his policy included allowing in some hundreds of thousands of refugees from countries like Venezuela. This is not what most Americans wanted.

Dems have a messaging and reading the room problem.

I'm sorry.. are you referring to Trump who just attacked Iran at the behest of Israel and his crooked might-as-well-be-Israeli son in law Kushner, or Lindsay-"‘I Will Be With Israel Until Our Dying Day’"- Graham?

It’s not surprising that the Democratic Party doesn’t poll well. They really haven’t stood for much except that they are not Trump. Biden rode that sentiment and then proceeded to squander the victory by pursuing deeply unpopular policies - from promoting illegal migration to DEI to insisting women aren’t women, which might be a small thing in practice, but was politically stupid.

If Democrats want to win they need to get back to their roots as the party of the working and middle class. There’s a reason FDR was so popular. The vast majority of Americans felt Democrats had their back. No one feels that today.

The Pope: +34

Stephen Colbert: +10

Marco Rubio: -7

Sanctuary Cities: -10

JD Vance: -11

AOC: -11

Donald Trump: -12

GOP: -14

Kamala Harris: -17

Gavin Newsom: -18

ICE: -18

AI: -20

Democrats: -22

Iran: -53

But when asked about Harris, Newsom, AOC or Colbert, they give a different answer. Just saying "Democrat" is clearly triggering, but individual Democrats are not. Something to keep in mind.

FDR was popular yet he failed to deliver in the long run. Maybe some temporary incremental progressive policies, but no long-term successes. We're seeing all of his efforts wiped out furthermore the way he leveraged the future we are now having less and less to put towards legitimate services basically we have to tithe every-thing, half of our taxes go towards servicing debt.

History may look back on FDR as the biggest failure ever. I don't think anyone that is looking at social security as a good thing can also look at paying all this money to banks and debt holders for nothing is helping us achieve those goals. Just imagine if they had prudently managed their budget paid down debt, stayed debt free. We would have had twice as much money to put into these services. That's why you can't afford anything. You can't afford anything because you keep giving it away with bad management.

There are plenty of Democrats (not all of them by any means, but many) who have taken an articulate and courageous stand. If you haven't noticed you are not paying attention.

A poll that includes “Democrats” without also including “Republicans “ isn’t one that I would take seriously. It would also be nice to have a link.
As presented, what’s presented is biased and misleading. If the OP chose to post partial results from the poll, then it’s not only meaningless but trolling.

Why only one political commentator? Why only one country? Why Rubio — but not, say, Hegseth, Noem, or RFK jr? What were the characteristics of the polling sample? What population do the pollers think the results reflect? This is all useless stuff without some context.

Rule of law. Checks and balances. Respect the Constitution. Separation of church and state. Officeholders serve the people, not their own bank accounts.

I don't see Trump mandating tax payers bailout student loans which is a spending function of the legislative branch. You wanna talk about Biden's dozen money laundering shell companies? I consider your climate change and tenewable energy agendas a church religion.

When you don't like something Trump does, you whine about checks and balances. But truth be told, much of what he does is wholly contained within the executive branch, so see the vesting clause and accept it.

Your DNC talking points aren't cutting it. I don't mind your ignorance. Oh wait, maybe I do.

Keep laughing dipshit. So far Democrats continue to outperform your party into 2026. The midterms are going to be a bloodbath for Republicans.

+1

But…..I also don’t trust this “news” poll for accuracy given that Trump now has major news outlets reporting his BS as the Orange Cheeto has threatened to revoke their FCC licenses if they report something Trump doesn’t like.

And, along those same lines, he is making Rubio and others wear Florsheim shoes.

For all we know, he could have bullied the pollsters into giving these results.

That poll is useless, as others pointed out.

OP deliberately left out: The same poll found that voters still preferred Democrats to control Congress over Republicans by a 50% to 44% margin.

Facts aren’t beliefs, science isn’t a religion, and “things I can’t understand or sense directly” isn’t spiritual mumbo-jumbo. It’s like claiming that gravity has churches and priests and it only exists because of faith.

Yep. It’s not too hard to understand. Democrats are pretty pissed at their own elected officials and aren’t afraid to say it because they aren’t in a cult. Republicans say they love theirs because they are in a cult. That drives democrats relative numbers down. But when it is time to vote, you have to pick one.
