The reason the Dems are less popular is because for the most part, they are not acting as a true opposition party. And they are not fighting the way the GOP would if the roles were reversed.

I voted for Dem in 2020/2024 however I would not vote for Dems candidates in 2028 if it will still be like today. The party cannot live by anti-trump. No leaders, No reflect on 2024.

But…..I also don’t trust this “news” poll for accuracy given that Trump now has major news outlets reporting his BS as the Orange Cheeto has threatened to revoke their FCC licenses if they report something Trump doesn’t like.

Exactly this. The Dems don’t actually stand for anything constructive and concrete. You can’t just say I’m not Trump, that’s not going to work. Hillary tried that and lost. What will you do different from Trump, be specific, no platitudes.

Rule of law. Checks and balances. Respect the Constitution. Separation of church and state. Officeholders serve the people, not their own bank accounts.

There’s a time and place to propose legislation. Right now with Trump in the White House Democrats in Congress won’t get anything passed. But what they can do is stop our slide into fascism.

When the 2028 election comes around, there will be policy proposals just like there has always has been. Just like there are in local state elections all across this country.
