FDR was popular yet he failed to deliver in the long run.  Maybe some temporary incremental progressive policies, but no long-term successes.  We're seeing all of his efforts wiped out furthermore the way he leveraged the future we are now having less and less to put towards legitimate services basically we have to tithe every-thing, half of our taxes go towards servicing debt.

History may look back on FDR as the biggest failure ever.  I don't think anyone that is looking at social security as a good thing can also look at paying all this money to banks and debt holders for nothing is helping us achieve those goals.  Just imagine if they had prudently managed their budget paid down debt, stayed debt free.  We would have had twice as much money to put into these services.  That's why you can't afford anything.  You can't afford anything because you keep giving it away with bad management.[/quote]
