Really disappointed in the lack of conversation about the antisemetic attack in Australia

These comments are pretty telling. I guess no one should check the news because if it's not happening at their house, doesn't matter.
Here is a link to gofundme related to the incident. Do you see anything at all about Jews, Hannukah, antisemitism? Me either.

There's a difference between staying aware of current events, and indulging in the tragedy porn slop that's on a loop on cable and the internet. I don't need to know the motives of someone who would attack a religious ceremony. They are obviously demons. I don't need a commentator to talk to me about the broader significance. The significance is that there is evil in this world. The best thing we can do is to continue to carry the light of God through prayer and action.

This particular attack has a lot more geopolitical importance though.

I’m m really disappointed about the lack of attention that the man who wrestled the gun away from the shooter was an immigrant Muslim Lebanese man. Let’s take this opportunity to highlight people helping people across religious divides.

Frankly, the only person who stood up to the attackers was Lebanese Christian. None of the Jewish people from the large crowd that attended the event went to protect their own people. Regardless, the Jewish communities in US still continue to support Islam and keep bashing Christianity. Go figure.

It's being reported that he is a Muslim from Syria.

The article does not says he was Muslim, it only says he was from Syria and a former police officer.

Unfortunately, the hero being Muslim does not play into the narrative that many people want. In fact, as soon as the incident happened, Benjamin Netanyahu proclaimed that the man who wrestled the gun away was actually Jewish.

What he said after learning his identity and that he was Muslim: “We saw the action of a brave man… a brave Muslim, and I salute him for stopping one of the terrorists from killing innocent Jews.”

Yes, and then he learned he was not and made the above statement.

OP, you don’t see it on TikTok because China feels it isn’t important. China amplifies stories to promote an agenda.

Of course, no one loves to exploit these types of tragedies more than Netanyahu. Pretty much did the same when Charlie Kirk died.

Very sad and of course the terrorist attack on Bondi Beach was discussed. Kids were given balloon animals and one popped during a speech and some people freaked out thinking it was something else. It’s a thought time to be a Jew right now.

A tough time indeed. But sadly, very few people care.

Why are you so deeply invested in making this true despite all evidence to the contrary? There's been plenty of attention given to this incident, especially given that it occurred in a different country, and the fact that we have so many mass shooting incidents that it's hardly news these days unfortunately.

Everyone has already said the things you want them to say, and this country has made it clear that it has no intention of doing anything about gun violence, so what else is there to say?
