Stop the Threat training is specifically geared towards the Bondi massacre. Not equipping officers in a manner that makes them effective across the entire threat spectrum is a dereliction of duty. Leadership should be fired. Policies should change. Training should change. Terrorists don’t play by anyone else’s rules. The government has blood on its hands.

To be effective they need assault rifles. The linked story says three specialty units already have assault rifles. According to the article they petitioned for rifles for regular police but that was denied. If the officers at Bondi had rifles how many lives would have been saved? One? Five? Ten?
