So, according to our leadership: Boys in girls' spaces > Title I kids, Special Ed kids, etc. and I am assuming lots of other programs.

Boys don't want girls in their bathrooms and locker rooms either. Why can't fcps just have a dedicated unisex bathroom/locker room area for the gender changing people?

That would just be way too logical.

Interesting that Reid left "sports participation" out of her email.

They have known this for months. Why did she harp on an additional 90 days for "thoughtful discourse?"

Of course, we know why. This decision puts Walkinshaw and Spanberger in a more difficult place. They will still win, but it will be closer.

That's a good point, and the wishes of the boys deserves respect as well, but it's the girls who are in physical danger of having boys in their bathrooms, changing rooms, and playing fields.

So the tl;dr is that they asked for more time, didn't get it, and now are asking for a pause while this plays out in courts, while stating they are complying with existing law (that permits trans youth in boys/girls spaces)? Am I missing something? What is the likely outcome of all this?

They will lose.

I mean, how did most of us grow up without allowing "trans kids" in our bathrooms?

Agree. Tomorrow it is woman not being allowed to vote or have their own bank account. Or even worse- interracial marriage is being targeted

They’re not defending Title IX.

These are the same people who fought Title IX years ago and mock women’s sports. Don Trump Jr. only last week shared some meme that depicted his father, the felonious child rapist, throwing sex toys onto the court of an WNBA game.

Have all the seats.

Fight the fascists, LCPS and FCPS. Stand up for our children.

These Northern Virginia counties are clown shows. This is a stupid hill to die on and it shows disrespect for actual women and girls. I can't even believe we are here.

You don’t care about women and girls.

It is a good thing this is anonymous. Otherwise, you could be sued for one of your statements.

Anybody who disagrees with you is a fascist.

Just like anyone who votes for Trump is automatically a racist.

Those two things are objectively factual.

And I would win since truth is an absolute defense.

Why are you so supportive of a pedophile? Are you one? Do you want to diddle children? I bet you do.

They will lose, but not before sticking citizens with the higher taxes to make up for the lost federal funding.
