Less than 25% of registered voters in Fairfax County vote in school board elections. Unfortunately, the majority of that fraction of registered voters consistently makes bad choices.

Hopefully, the recent actions of the SB and Reid will raise interest in school board elections in the future and wider choices will be made.

Fcps will of course fight it. What’s the most polarized political standpoint you could take? That’ll be the route Fcps goes.
