Both my kids had chaperones in the house, one went to private, one at MCPS.

Our seniors are in OCMD and do not have chaperones. In fact, my 18 year old daughter was able to rent their house herself. There are some parents who have beach houses who are there if needed.

Mine did not have a great experience. Aftermath involved an abortion and a totally unrelated surgery.

This is an absolutely terrible idea and a recipe for disaster. There is supervision at college and most freshman don’t have cars. College spring. Break would be fine after a year of semi independence. Hopefully your kid doesn’t go to jail, the hospital, or worse, a morgue before even getting to college.

I went junior and senior years of high school. Dewey and OC. Definitely no chaperones.

My kids go to W-L, and they heard it was a kid from Maryland.
