Who is in the wrong here?

Do you look pregnant or just like a fatty?

I went straight from the doctor to the pharmacy so I could take the meds immediately.

What a jerk. Technically you were wrong to park there, but most people would let it go. I’m guessing people have complained in the past, the manager was told to enforce the rule and took the job way too seriously.

You're wrong, and stupid, on a few counts.

1) You're not entitled to a close spot.
2) If you're going to break the rules, remember #1. Acting entitled when caught/called out on your BS is additional BS
3) Arguing why the rules don't apply to you is always a dick move. If you need accommodations, ask. People are usually happy to help when asked nicely, and combative and confrontational when they feel you're being aggressive, entitled, and ignoring clearly-drawn boundaries.

Sorry about your UTI, and being pregnant is always a pain, but there are rules for a reason, and you don't just get to decide other people's rules don't apply to you.

Yeah, totally! Think of all of the entitled, lazy people who need to sit in their car in those spots while someone else shops for them.

Those people may be disabled and unable to do those things, or temporarily unwell (e.g. covid) and staying out of public space for public health reasons.

I get that you wanted this, but you could've just walked a few extra steps and saved everyone the drama.

You and he were both wrong.
Once he asked, a couple of times, just move your car.

He was wrong to not just allow you to finish your quick business.

You were wrong in the things you don’t know / maybe he’s had complaints about this and the solution.. monitor these spots.

He was wrong in the things he doesn’t know. After my mom died, I wanted to .. like.. own all convenient spots and things for a while. I’ve also been so sick that I would park in a fire lane for goodness sake (and hope no fire or emergency).

I’m not saying your mom died. But there were 2-3 x in my 22 adult years that I have felt in so much pain like I was dying. I would do anything to get relief.

And, since they are in their cars and don't have to get out, it's fine from them to drive a bit waiting for a pickup spot to open up, or just block one temporarily.

Signs that designate parking only for Vets/Pregnant women are not legally enforceable. Signs that designate for pickup orders only are also not legally enforceable.

The trespassing notice is legally enforceable.

Your trolling is really going downhill lately, you need to ramp it up.

Unfortunately it is you OP. 😕

As a woman I sympathize 10000% w/your plight.
UTIs are very painful and being sick + pregnant on top of that sounds absolutely miserable.
My sympathies.

The manager could have cut you a break but it is likely there are many people who lie about stuff just so they can park closer.
Sadly their behavior negatively impacts future customers who have legitimate needs.

I am sorry this happened to you.

Hoping you feel better now.

You were in the wrong, no question.

Why do you think you are entitled to break the rules?

You can't verbally trespass someone.

I just used the grocery pick up at my local grocery store a few weeks ago. They didn’t include all of my items ordered and the girl who brought me my order told me I was welcome to stay parked in the pickup spot and go into the store to see if the items had been restocked since my order was filled.

The manager’s treatment of you was totally arbitrary and goes against basic principles of customer service and hospitality. You should write a detailed letter to corporate reporting him for the behavior, which considering your pregnancy and the empty spots was really misogynistic behavior and entirely out of keeping with the customer service ethic.
