Who is in the wrong here?

I’m sick, have a uti and I’m pregnant. A prescription was called into the pharmacy which is inside a grocery store. There were no close spots and I urgently need the medication and I’m in pain so I parked in the grocery pickup spot of which there were 4 and none of them were occupied. As I started walking into then store a manager stops me and tell me I need to move my car. I explain I’m sick and picking up drugs and will be in and out in 5 minutes. He block me from proceeding and tell me I have to move my car and it’s against store policy to do what I’m doing. I reply that there are 3 empty spots and I’m sick and just picking up meds. He tells me I can pick up my medication but I’m not welcome back. Who is in the wrong here?

Tell him he needs to serve you with a banning notice.

Complain to corporate, that's some BS.

He is a jerk

You are wrong. I’m sorry you are sick and pregnant and have a uti but that still does not entitle you to park where ever you want.

Why didn't you send your husband to pick up the RX? Story does not check out.

You are 100% wrong but he's 100% an asshat.

This is why robots can't run the world. There are times such as this where human decency should be extended.

You are wrong and he was oddly officious.

Tell him any spaces with signs other than "parking for X Store customers only" or handicap spaces are not legally enforceable signs.

Signs that designate parking only for Vets/Pregnant women are not legally enforceable. Signs that designate for pickup orders only are also not legally enforceable.

Signs that designate "15 minute parking only" are legally enforceable as long as the lot is a private lot.

If my pregnancy hormones were raging, I'd fire off a snarky email to corporate.

You must have read that other thread about parking.

You're giving me a flashback to when I did the exact same thing!

Sometimes people will hold you to a rule without allowing for extenuating circumstances. They're probably mentally rigid and lack empathy.

More importantly - I very much doubt he will enforce what he said. Maybe don't show your face in there for a few months, that's all.

He was wrong.
Totally wrong.

You are. For posting this crap again. Wasn't your parking thread from yesterday deleted?
