Who is in the wrong here?

You were 100 percent wrong. I assume pick up is for online orders where people park and someone brings out their order. The store will lose money if the spots are not available. They have likely had complaints. Anyone who thinks “but there were other spots” or “I will only be a few minutes” are self absorbed. You have no idea when the next people are coming. You just thought you were more important than other people.

I am sorry you were sick and pregnant. The manager could have showed some sympathy, but likely a lot of people park there and lie about the reason.

You are technically wrong, but he is morally wrong. He was within his rights as manager to enforce store policy, which you broke, but that doesn’t mean that he was right. Aside from being a lousy way for one human to treat another, from a business perspective, he not only alienated you as a customer, but if anyone had witnessed it, could have caused bad public relations. Anyone who has been entrusted with authority needs to know that exercising it is not more important than being a decent person.

She's entitled to simply because it's a legal spot and she's a customer.

Park in the fire lane like everyone else.

There were no close spots and I urgently need the medication and I’m in pain so I parked in the grocery pickup spot of which there were 4 and none of them were occupied. As I started walking into then store a manager stops me and tell me I need to move my car. I explain I’m sick and picking up drugs and will be in and out in 5 minutes. He block me from proceeding and tell me I have to move my car and it’s against store policy to do what I’m doing. I reply that there are 3 empty spots and I’m sick and just picking up meds. He tells me I can pick up my medication but I’m not welcome back. Who is in the wrong here?

Him. Good God.

He is a 100% wrong. I would complain to his boss. What an ass.

Also, it’s totally fine to park in those spots.

Oh please! I hope that I park in one of those spots one day so you have to wait and circle around. You are the epitome of self absorbed, lazy, entitled nobody.

Technically, you were wrong because you weren’t picking up groceries and in the wrong spot.

Any decent person should not have given you a hard time. Pregnant or not pregnant. Write an email to the manager and corporate for sure.

And next time you have any pharmacy need I could park in that spot, call the main lien from the store, ask for the manager and ask for someone to carry them to your space since the manager requested you don’t come in. That’s how I would handle it. I would get the person’s name and ask for them directly. They can’t ban you for that.

You probably park all the time

You are very wrong. Being pregnant and having a UTI does not make you disabled or entitled to convenience park wherever you want.

Those spots are mere suggestions and I would have parked there too. Total BS.

He's both a jerk and you were wrong.

Yeah, totally! Think of all of the entitled, lazy people who need to sit in their car in those spots while someone else shops for them.
