Restrictions on Harvard

Sounds reasonable to word it carefully. I think responsible people in this country would like to step up and try to halt the constant drain on our energy and resources that is coming from this corrupt wasteful inefficient amateur administration.

But the Democrats and the courts —as a whole — haven’t “washed their hands of the responsibilities of checks and balances”. Unlike Trump, they’re going through the legalize process to challenge Trump — who is overstepping the boundaries of his office. Most of the Republicans are jumping on the MAGA train — and I hope they pay a price for that.

This is a separate issue from the Harvard case.

So, visa appointments for international incoming students for all colleges will continue to be paused, regardless of the preliminary injunction in the Harvard case?

The result he wants is the one he ordered in the ruling, which was based on an analysis of the law.

Agree. Harvard doesn’t need my tax dollars.

Your tax dollars are going to medical and scientific research the government contracted with Harvard to provide. You’re not just funding Harvard generally or paying student tuition costs. Please get a better understanding of the facts.

Right. The judge needs to word the injunction order carefully because we’ve already seen this administration will parse words and look for loopholes to refuse to comply. A preliminary injunction is intended to preserve the status quo and not allow changes while the litigation is pending. The statement from the judge is a reflection of that, not some improper conspiracy theory (or whatever you’re trying to suggest).

Burn Harvard to the ground. If my C- average White son with a 2.8 GPA cannot get into Harvard as a citizen, why should a Chinese or Nigerian national?

Our ancestors worked hard so that we could enjoy underserved and unearned privileges. Let other countries work to create their own Harvard and enjoy them.
Life is not fair. Face it. Embrace it. Advocate for it. Exploit it. Flaunt it. It's the American way

Can I ask why your son would want to go to Harvard? Why would he be interested in going to a place that values a completely different admissions criteria than you and he value. What would he want to do at a place like that?

Please. Don't be so clueless. they made scientists and researchers endorse and write cringe worthy DEI support statements before they could be hired.

They fired Larry Summers for just stating the obvious and accepted truth about never difference in stem field achievement and interests

They revoked admissions of accepted students for what they posted on their personal social media feeds.

They discriminated against high achieving Asian students so that they could socially engineer their class profile

Give that money to a flag ship state school where they can and do indeed do much better research

Starve this discriminating beast

Which worldv are you living in? You think people go to HAAH VAD to actually get an education. What a strange viewpoint
