Restrictions on Harvard

That is one area I'm sure everyone can agree.

First we have to agree that they were anti-semites there in the first place, don't we.

I’m soooo suuuure that his kid was a real merit admit. Definitely no money exchanged hands there lol.

Not to mention how these universities are exploiting students for their own gain, then sending them out to an American workforce for pennies on the dollar.

I highly doubt she had to bribe her way in, unlike Jared Kushner. Son of a felon. But then we have one as president now.

Xi Jinping is a mass murderer, yet Harvard wanted his prized daughter. Disgusting.

Agree. Harvard doesn’t need my tax dollars.

Your tax dollars are going to medical and scientific research the government contracted with Harvard to provide. You’re not just funding Harvard generally or paying student tuition costs. Please get a better understanding of the facts.

Again, such a wealthy institution like Harvard, should NOT be getting MY tax dollars.

I am definitely happy that my tax dollars AND yours are going to something that the entire nation and the world will benefit from.

My tax dollars go to all of my state universities too…even the questionable ones that don’t produce the cures/treatment and technology that has benefited mankind like Harvard.

No university is producing cures, only highly profitable treatments.

“A cured patient reduces industry profits.”

Pharmaceutical profits via endless treatments are the priority, not cures.

Our ancestors worked hard so that we could enjoy underserved and unearned privileges. Let other countries work to create their own Harvard and enjoy them.
Life is not fair. Face it. Embrace it. Advocate for it. Exploit it. Flaunt it. It's the American way

Can I ask why your son would want to go to Harvard? Why would he be interested in going to a place that values a completely different admissions criteria than you and he value. What would he want to do at a place like that?

Excuse me? Su that he can make friends with future movers and shakers who can give him a cushy job that he doesn't have to earn.

So that he can meet a senators or Presidents daughter and flaunt that.

So that he can quietly name drop the HAAH VAD name in conversations and nake plebs envious

Which worldv are you living in? You think people go to HAAH VAD to actually get an education. What a strange viewpoint

Must be an athlete

Nope. Athletes have to achieve, work hard and sacrifice. I'm making a different point altogether. My son deserved a spot in Harvard because he is tall, handsome, white and rich. True he had middling grades and scores but we don't consider that a negative because Harvard has never been about academics for the right people. We are outraged that we were not considered the "right people"

So burn this institution down that gives Chinese and Nigerian nationals a spot but denied our son admission even though he is a US Citizen with all the right checkboxes to make him a successful alum in a few years.

HE DESERVED TO BE AT HARVARD. OUR ANCESTORS PAID THEIR DUES TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

None of what you wrote makes your son more deserving of being at Harvard than anyone you're dissing. I'm glad he didn't get in.

Yes. I know. And that is why I want Harvard to burn. If my son cannot enjoy his unearned privilege that his ancestors worked hard to give him, I want to make sure some Chinese or Nigerian national certainly doesn't enjoy any benefits from the institutions that my ancestors helped build

I mentioned this to a Harvard alum today and I was shocked by his disdain for the Chinese nationals he said didn’t belong and bought their way in. He was joyful they were being excluded. He is an American of Chinese descent by the way.

This doesn’t make any sense. Children of world leaders shouldn’t be punished for the actions of their parents.

Nor should they be admitted because of their parents’ fame/power.

You think she would have been admitted if her dad had been old hundred names?

He knows what going on. No decent person wants enemy spies around them.

Harvard University, a cornerstone of American academia, is increasingly relying on foreign workers through programs like H-1B visas and Optional Practical Training (OPT), often at the expense of American white-collar workers. As American professionals face growing challenges in securing jobs, Harvard’s hiring practices raise serious concerns about economic fairness and ideological influence.

Harvard’s reliance on H-1B (1,200+ hires) and OPT (15,525+ positions) displaces American workers.

Why cant Democrats be the ones working for US workers first? We thank Trump for revoking Harvard’s license and urge extending this to all colleges.

Harvard will start a trade school. Highly selective of course. Limited seats. Trump said he would send 5 billion dollars to a trade school. Harvard can smell money like a pig truffles.

Not unusual to pull up the ladder once you climbed it.

You have the wrong take. Legal immigrants tend to favor order over chaos, equality over discrimination, meritocracy over favoritism, discipline over disorder, consequences over forgiveness, personal responsibility over social benefits. They came from modest backgrounds, stood in line, worked hard, established themselves. They won't stand for those who abuse their privileges or stand on the other side of their values, even if they are from the same community.

This is also what separates legals from illegals. As Europe is discovering illegals have nowhere near the same values as the legals who came in prior to the madness.

The courts have been plenty busy.

I didn't think there's is a lot of questions about that the question is whether this is an appropriate response
