JD Vance, for one. Evangelics circling the drain of relevancy, kicking and screaming the entire way down, down, down. Pack lightly, warm weather expected! Lol |
You really think you have to be that liberal of a person to be anti current admin policies? Really? Cause I think the current admin is completely right wing nuts. Any one even center who isn't liberal would still be more liberal than the nut jobs in office currently! I think there absolutely 100% is meaning behind choosing an American pope. 1- Recognition that the US has lost it's domination/way as a leader globally and 2 - Trump being American anti-Christ needs to battle with the Pope - leader of the "good" so it's only right to have him be American too! LOL |
Gas price is $1.99 in the White House. |
This is the start of the antichrist, right? |
Are you saying Trump the antichrist or is it the new pope? |
I was expecting a bit longer before a new Pope was chosen.
The cardinals are definitely voting more smartly than the MAGA. |

Please say more! |
Until a few hours ago, the most prominent US Catholic was JD Vance, an unkind and belligerent man who works for a narcissist that sends out images of himself as the pontiff.
I’m glad they chose an American pope if only as an antidote to the right wing noise machine. Most Catholics do not identify with the JD Vance cruelty |
I’m a practicing Catholic Democrat and also am happy with the choice. Pope Francis liked him and appointed him to significant positions. In his first address, he talked about building bridges and God loving everyone. |
+1. |
This is interesting - this pope actually confirms US power since he was selected to oppose Trump. |
I'm Protestant with several Catholic friends, both practicing and lapsed, and I liked Pope Francis and I am ready to like this pope too. |
+1 And he has called out Vance on his treatment of immigrants. |
Everybody hates Vance, except Usha, inexplicably. |
