Which is @$:#ing inevitable |
No, not if you use a slow sustainable approach. The trouble is most people are too impatient and too inconsistent to do so. |
The science of obesity medicine disagrees with you. |
What dose were you in? |
People don’t stay consistent with their food intake. That’s the issue. |
Mind me asking when you started were you already eating healthy reduced diet etc. I’m wondering if the metabolism part is worth it if you are already trying the other stuff |
That's what my health insurance company says. |
It’s easy for very overweight people to lose this amount quickly, but not for leaner people. Stop gatekeeping this weight loss hack. |
+1. I've tried for years to lose 15 pounds. I'm not overweight, but I wasn't happy with my body. GLP-1 did the trick. 18 lbs down, in my skinny jeans again, feeling better and more beautiful than I have in over a decade. No major side effects - a little bit of nausea here and there. Completely worth it. |
Quickest way to lose 15 pounds is to sever a limb |
Right - that’s the issue. And if it were easily corrected then it wouldn’t be an issue. Obviously saying “just eat less” is not a solution to obesity. |
What dose? |
2.5 until the last two weeks went up to 3.5 to drop the final few lbs. Now tapering back and eventually off. |
I have read these threads long enough that I know most people don’t understand that is the issue. They really believe they were consistently eating 1000 calories and not losing weight. |
What is the easiest way to get a low dose GLP-1? I’d like to lose 10-15 pounds as well. Already eat very healthfully (no sugar, limited carbs, high fiber, etc). Also work out every day including weight training 3x week. For like 10 years though I’ve been trying to lose the same gd 10-15 pounds. I’ve reached it briefly at times but always come back up. I’m sure I’d be able to keep it off if I gave up alcohol but thats a tough one to give up. |
