I know it’s always an issue when something is based on a book, but I really didn’t like this take. Nantucket is always a starring character and they didn’t do any of that.

Everyone in this aside from Nicole Kidman and Meghan Fahey is insanely unattractive. There are definitely unknown actors who are good looking so it did not have to be like this. Also the interiors are all wrong - that is not what a 20 million dollar house in Nantucket looks like inside. Get it together Netflix.

Exactly. I was like WTF. Also the female characters other than Nicole Kidman are way too old. They’re supposed to be like 25. Eve looks like an average girl. That’s okay sometimes but felt odd here. Also those men were all busted. And Dakota fanning looks horrible.

She's attractive but they did her dirty with lack of makeup and bad styling. She can look very pretty, but didn't here.

I binged it yesterday while doing idle things around the house and this is kinda of it for me, I can't watch Nicole Kidman anymore. Looking at her stretched out, movement free face is horrifying. It is not flattering, was not flattering in the Zach Effron (he looked horrid as well), and I for the life of me cannot understand why she lost so much weight and keeps doing this to her face. She's an actress who needs to show facial emotional expressions, I found myself mesmerized with her appearance. Same thing happened when I watched the Zach thing, just can't get lost in what used to be her fabulous acting. I mean your yelling at your family that your not doing this anymore, your screaming, not one movement in that face. And what the f did she do to her nose?

That crowd of New England people is usually very plain so to me the cast was perfect in that respect. Agree about the house.
