Eve Hewson in an average drama and average acting. i think nepotism has helped. Her character is also poorly cast for such a main role in the drama.

Maybe but I enjoyed her- she has a different look than many white women in acting and I had no clue she wasn’t American.

From reading the book, I would say she is well cast but her husband was not.

I thought she was great in this role. She was supposed to be "different" from all the other cookie-cutter characters. I found the actor who portrayed Benji, however, to be unbelievably creepy.

A few thoughts:

I surprisingly liked this show

It could have been cut down to four episodes

Disliked the ending scenes after Dakota Fanning’s character got busted. Like, it was light hearted? NK’s grandchild will be born in prison and her eldest son doesn’t seem to give a crap? It’s so bizarrely light hearted. Weird vibes.

Was impressed with Eve Hewson, her American accent was good. Also her body is ridiculously hot yet normal. Jeez.

Exactly. Why does she call him while he is awaiting in his chauffeured car waiting for his lawyer to go to the police station the second(??) time, and she admits to him it was her on that B train, then they say bye on the phone But they don't get together after all? Or is there a Part 2?

Excellent acting. Liked the story. Thought it was very good all around.

I just finished and feel like so much must be missing - why would Greer write a book about Amelia? What did she do except cheat, lose a friend and hang out until the mystery was solved? She didn’t even help solve it!

Benji was so weird - he doesn’t seem to love her he just wants to have a girlfriend or wife to help him feel normal I guess?

Um... she wasn't speaking in her Australian accent. It was supposed to be British but kept lapsing into some other kind of accent, maybe "continental." Very distracting.
