I first watched Eve Hewson in Behind Her Eyes. She gave a terrific performance, by turns creepy and charming.

Yes, I loved seeing Isabelle Adjani! She is still very pretty although her face has gone the way of Nicole Kidman's and is a bit uncanny valley. Kidman is an excellent actor and can play many different roles. She is choosing to play these very safe, one-note roles, and I'm not sure why. It just seems boring if you're an actor.

To see Kidman as the “bold & brave” Kidman, see Babygirl, a pornfest that received a 7 minute standing ovation in Venice last week.
I’m a NK fan basically in support of her clawing back from being thrown away and stripped of her children from her first husband and his cult. She succeeded professionally despite his efforts to blackball her. And she’s been in a loving relationship with the lovely Keith Urban for 20 years. You go girl!
Still, I prefer her safer projects like Big Little Lies. I guess I’m boring.

NK has has the most recent success or decent reviews or academy award noms with her more "mainstream" roles: The Perfect Couple, Big Little Lies, Lion, and her academy award/nom role in The Hours, Ricardos, Rabbit Hole (and award for Broadway role of scientist). But when she gets her freak on, the audiences are much smaller and her performances considered "underrated": The Northman, How To Talk To Girls at Parties, Paperboy, The Lake, so much of her early work, etc etc

I loved the dinner scene. When it goes off the rails and the older brother asks Amelia’s mom what her favorite kind of Doritos are…before when she could still taste…it was LOL funny.

I love the banter between the brothers.
